Dr. Farshad Farhoumand was born in Tehran, Iran. He grew up in Ethiopia where he attended Italian and American schools. After going to college in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Farhoumand graduated from Georgetown University's School of Dentistry in 1976.

Patients who receive a Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics crown benefit from the dentist's training in computer-assisted design and manufacturing.

Great concept. Service was acceptable. Questionable/dishonest/non-transparent billing practices. Tried to charge almost $100 more than prior quote given. On second visit, would not allow me to use a coupon given directly by them at first visit. Three people gave different reasons why, though none were written on the coupon. Nonexistent customer service by office manager who said that she would check the picture of the coupon that I sent in and call me back. She did not even follow up.

I have been going to Avanti Dentistry for many years! I always feel comfortable and well taken care of every time I go. I live in FL and will travel to Avanti whenever I need a major procedure or cosmetics done. Most recently, I got four veneers. The team walked me through every step and were encouraging me to feel comfortable to share what I liked and didn't like when creating what my veneers would look like. Highly recommend.

I’ve been having my teeth taken care of at Avanti dentistry for 7 years now, a great welcoming one stop dentistry, that are all amazing, I don’t have to waist time going here or there, all is done at Avanti, starting from the hygienist, she’s amazing! I did 4 implants, they helped me in payments, the work was done amazingly, no swelling no pain, crowns are so much matching my teeth, it looks as if it’s my own, I will never think about changing this place ever.

I've been a patient from Avanti for over a decade and it is the best dental office I've ever visited. Even after I moved out of the area, I continue going back because they have . Everyone is so welcoming and informative, the service is great. The dentists are very friendly and the staff are very professional. It's a place I definitely recommend to all families. They recommended unnecessary and invasive procedures. The style is very aggressive. I got a treatment plan with thousand dollar surgeries including three quadrants where I had no issue. I went because of the high rating on Google, but did not feel comfortable here for that reason. Between hygienist and the dentist, I got salesman pushing me hundreds dollar bite guard for no obvious reason.

Extremely unethical service. I made the payment before the service, and the front desk said "all you need to pay is $370". After the service, I received another $280 bill. I called the front desk to ask about the billing problem. The feedback is that what the front desk said is not a guarantee, and I do not have proof for that. Legally, they are right. Go the dentistry if you morally think they are right to make extra charges after the service.

I have been seeing Dr Farshad for 15 years. He is an exceptional dentist who genuinely cares about patients, has a passion to help (and joke), and bends over backwards for them. He came in on his day off to treat my pain, with a big, warm smile. The week after, his endodontist did the same thing! He also has the latest tech and best assistants (Elli). Everyone is customer obsessed. Literally all of his front desk staff (especially Ms Seema) could teach a masterclass on customer relations (they are that consistently good and professional).

Their customer service is far below par, they don't have an after hours number for emergencies and the online chat on their website is a joke. It's definitely not anyone in the office who works there. They also don't take HMO or DMO as posted on their website. I tried to give them a chance but I couldn't even talk to a real person when I needed help the most. There's plenty of other dentists offices that are more responsive in the area.

Dr.Farhoumand is a great dentist, he was very helpful. I must say though I had a consultation for tooth pain and then scheduled an appointment to get the tooth removed and was informed that someone would contact me about my insurance(no one ever contacted me) then I had to put $200 down for the procedure just to come back to be told 1.my insurance doesn't cover much 2.they don't have any in house payment plans, apparently through a third party they do & 3.I had to reschedule the procedure due to not being about to pay $1000+ out of pocket and once I had left I received a call 30 minutes

I and my wife have been patient of this dentistry for a long time now almost 3 years. One of the front desk staff has always been rude to us not sure why but today was heights of it. I missed my appointment because I had to go to ER the other day because of passing out episode she called me after 15 mins and was really disappointed on the way i was talked to, she was portraying me as if i committed some crime but missing it and was rambling without wanting to see what i had to say. Hi after reading the reviews of Avanti I had to do one myself. I have been a patient of Dr, Farshad since the nineties and I would not trade this dental office I travel from MD to get treatment.
Since under his care I have the strongest best teeth ever!! I am a 54 year old woman with all of my teeth plus my wisdom teeth that do not bother me so I don't bother them. I give all the credit to the maintenance and expertise from Dr. Farshad. I have never had a problem. If I got a filling and it was feeling funny I went back and got it adjusted simple. I also must note I have seen other dentist

Went here one time and got upsold on everything they offered. They acted more like used car salesmen than medical professionals. Now, over a year after my one and only visit here, I have added their number to my blocked caller list. This might sound unbelievable but these people call me once a week, every week. This dentist has the worlds best liar staff named Ana. They act like the accept certain discount plans but they tell you 200 lies to not to go to them since for discount plans they need to charge less. I caught up with them for two months at the end Ana told me that they are no more in network with my discount plan. I call the discount plan she told them that the dr doesn't do root canal. Cheap liar staff!!!

Recently moved to the area. Thought I'd try Avanti since they seemed to have good hours (weekends and early morning available) and is close to my new office. What a mistake. Went in for my routine 6-month cleaning. The cleaning itself was done by a hygenist and tech; both of whom were competent. No actual issues with the cleaning. It was the "chairside" manner that I was disturbed by. To start, with both the hygenist and dentist (who eventually came in to review my x-ray scans), the very first comments they made to me were, "Are you Korean? Oh yes, we have a Korean dentist

This was my first time here and I had a dental emergency..they were able to fit me in and had their doctor come in and extract my tooth... she was just about to head out of town,but she came in and did the procedure...I really am grateful for that and they made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process!
