I came here to buy work boots for my new job and was pleasantly surprised by the shoes that they had available. I came in here thinking I would have to buy construction boots which I wasn't happy about but you gotta do what you gotta do. The person who was assisting me that day was friendly and showed me some great options including some cute hiking shoes and Fryes. I was relieved to learn more about my options and that I could find and wear cute shoes and work at the same time.
At first, though, when I said closed-toed shoes, they showed me the Keens shoes, and working with farm animals

One of the best shoe stores in Provincetown yes it might be a little dusty but the employees try to keep the massive place running especially since every business in town is severely understaffed. They might get a little bit frustrated sometimes especially when the explain how it works and dumb people ask multiple question about the same thing they explained earlier. While I was there I witnessed a lovely young man named Andrew running around working with multiple people carrying many boxes and still treated everyone nicely and professionally.

This place is a tragedy! Dirty, dusty, gross. Most of the display shoes look like they have been out for two decades.
The girls working there are inappropriately rude, unprofessional and discourteous. They roll their eyes at customers. They loudly make fun of customers. They are bothered when you ask them a question. One of them literally walked away from me when I asked her for another size and never came back. Wasted 20 minutes of my life on these ill-breds.
Who is the owner of this dump? Why are you allowing this nasty behavior in your store? These girls need a proper training in customer

ALWAYS make it to this leather shop when we visit Provincetown! They carry tons of shoes, handbags, coats and hats, leather and felt. It is also one of the few stores that is open in P-town between Labor Day and New Year's Day. We went the day after Christmas and bought really neat Minnetonka leather outback hats at a great discount. Over the years, I have purchased ALL of my leather belts here.

I purchased a pair of sandals from this store and after two summers they completely disintegrated and broke apart I couldn't believe it because they cost me a lot of money more than I usually would pay that much for sandals but they where really comfortable. I held on to them to bring them back since they were hardly worn.The owner told me he repair them but then change his mind .

Hersheldon's Leather is one of the several vanilla leather shops in P-Town. However, if you are looking for some unique leather products like a shoulder holster style accoutrement bag or insanely over decorated, metal clad, steal toed stomping boots, a fur rug to lay in front of your hotel room fireplace, or just a really nice leather jacket, this is your place.
They also have a staff of Eastern European women who I'm pretty sure run an under ground dungeon under the store, and even while they are getting you a different shoe size, never let you forget who is in charge.
