In simplest terms, a subluxation a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves.
This is a representation of one type of subluxation. A subluxation, as defined by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges is: "A subluxation is a complex of functional and/or structural and/or pathological articular changes that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and general health."
Chiropractors do not claim to treat infectious diseases. What chiropractic does is allow your body to function free of nerve system interference and closer to your full potential. Understanding the spread of infectious disease and how best to defend yourself can lessen the fear as well as your chances of being impacted by infectious pathogens.

I've been a Builder/Contractor for over 40 years and if it weren't for seeing Doctor Wittner for the last 25 years I probably would have had to retire from my job long ago. He is the most caring and thoughtful professional I've ever met. He's just simply the best!

I have multiple issues stemming from my job that cause me pain in my neck and upper back. The regular doctors suggest drugs and surgery. With the help of these good folks I can keep working, have little to no pain and avoid all the drugs and surgery. Very friendly and knowledgeable - the best!

I never thought highly of chiropractic care, but when I had some lower back issues I went to see Dr. Wittner (since since several members of my family see him). After just a few visits, I no longer suffered from the issues I was experiencing. I didn't have to have that many adjustments, either. I've been seeing him now on and off for maybe 6 years. There may be years between visits, I go when I have an ailment. He's my miracle worker... He has magic hands and without telling him he knows exactly what needs to be done. Without making an appointment- the office visits are quick, and the ladies in
