Ebenezer Groceries is a discount grocery store located in Ephrata PA, in the heart of Lancaster County. Don't need a whole log of cheese? No problem, we will slice it fresh just for you. Absolutely LOVE this grocery store. I come once or sometimes even twice a week. They have amazing food items and have A LOT of healthy options too for anyone with certain dietary needs too! I tell everyone about this store lol!! Plus staff are all very nice and helpful. So grateful for this place! 🎉

Always worth Supporting Ebenezer grocery over any of the big companies out there. It’s actually almost ALWAYS worth checking out before going to any other store… and normally… you can find almost everything you need. I’ve heard all there vegetables are local farm grown. There deli is also always great. Check out the freezer section every time!!
They also sometimes have super high end cleaning products at an amazing price.

Ebenezer's is a gem of a grocery store. Mostly, it's a good outlet store with some expired (but totally fine) food and off brand items. It's mostly pretty random. Canned goods are as expensive (if not more) then at a typical grocer. Where Ebenezer's really rocks is the random boxed items, produce, dairy, frozen, and deli. You can usually score deals there. I feel like you will benefit more from Ebenezer's if you are not flowing a strict list, are not a brand loyalist, and know how to evaluate produce. We were out this way & decided to stop in & take a look (my mom & i). She used to live down this area & has been here less than a handful of times way back when.

Found an Avid deal - spend $10 and get $20 for this business and decided to check them out. I had not heard of them before and honestly without that deal I would not have went.
It's easy to find on the main street and not far from Green Dragon. The exterior looked much larger than the store was inside.
Immediately inside I was greeted by health and beauty products, priced reasonably, the majority nearing or at expiration. The items priced even lower were already expired, some by at least a year, but didn't appear to be damaged or opened. I passed on these.
Roaming around the store

Only Not that it's a bad store. But it's on average in the sense of other discount stores such as Sharp Shopper, BB's etc. though it is a lot cheaper than the local chains like Giants & Weis'. It is a skosh more in some things than it is at Sharp Shopper & BB's.
The selection is average. Not a lot of choices, but it has a variety.
The big pro's are the steaks are a very good price, and the gluten free selection is pretty nice. (if your into that 15 year old fad).
And for the hippies, there's organic items as well.

My family loves this store. Especially for the produce. We can buy organic here without breaking the bank. They also have an excellent bulk section. Yes you have to watch some dates here, but it's like that at every discount grocery. Obviously don't buy milk out of date but crackers and such don't go bad on the date printed on the package.
