BB's Grocery Outlet is a discount grocery chain that was started in 1986 on an Amish Farm in Lancaster County, PA. It began with the simple idea of providing quality groceries at greatly reduced prices to the local community. We specialize in offering quality salvage and surplus merchandise to our communities. We have five convenient store locations serving south central Pennsylvania.

I love this store. I have been shopping at the Quarryville location for a long time, and this one is a welcome addition as it is in a somewhat different location which is often closer to me, depending on where I am and what I'm doing.
Like the other BB's locations, this place has an exceptional produce selection with lots of small, high-quality apples and an assortment of other stuff. The rest of the store is very hit-or-miss but is reliably good because the quality of products is high and the prices are absolutely rock bottom. We're talking prices between 1/2 and 1/10th of retail

I love BBs and I always find some sort of surprise here. Make sure to check the expiration dates but you can always get some great bargains. I love the way the fridge/freezer sections are set up and the majority of the store is pretty well-organized, especially considering the amount of different products they have.

Most items are greatly discounted and vary each week. The staff is always very good.
However, DON'T post a sign telling customers that Face coverings are required IF you don't enforce it.
My most recent visit here had approximately 35 to 40 percent of customers Not wearing anything. On this visit, most of these were non-Amish customers.
With the 2nd wave of Coronavirus reaching all time record levels for hospitalizations, ICU cases, and deaths, I won't be going back until there is a vaccine.
My family's health and my community are way more important than a discount!
NOTE: I did bring this

Avoid at all cost. Families of 5 without face masks. 30 percent of the store without face masks. We spoke to management (with there mask under there nose) about our concerns. Management told us they can not enforce there employee wearing masks because no one can breathe. My wife and I work in healthcare and this business does not get it. We left without buying anything.

An absolute staple in the community. I'm so pleased to hear they are opening another location in Oxford. Where else can you get a cart of groceries for under $20. BB's has a great selection. If you don't mind seconds for produce and shelf-stable goods a little past their sell-by date (but still entirely viable). We are able to get such great deals every time we go. Be sure to check out the freezer section in the back!
