Dr. Chris Wertin founded Advanced Chiropractic Services in 1989 and has dedicated himself to helping patients who have been unable to find effective solutions anywhere else. We know how to find the root cause of your problem and correct it quickly, even if you have seen many doctors before coming to us.
At Advanced Chiropractic Services, we believe in getting to the root cause of a body's problem. We have the advantage of Dr. Chris Wertin's years of study into why some people would not get better even though they had received treatment from chiropractors and medical doctors. Through research and development, Dr. Chris was able to make breakthroughs into understanding what care a body really needs to heal.
Advanced Chiropractic Services' location in Lawrence, KS, is our original location and currently the main hub of operations for our three offices. We serve patients from Lawrence and the surrounding communities. In our Lawrence office, we provide a full range of chiropractic services including adjustments for the neck, shoulder, lower back and migraines.
To provide life-changing chiropractic services to Holton and surrounding communities, Advanced Chiropractic Services expanded from its original office in Lawrence to establish an additional office in Holton, Kansas. This office is located at 123 Dakota Avenue, a block off Arizona, and just off Highway 75.
After his chiropractor training and seeing that not all patients were healing the way they should, he discarded what he'd been taught and studied what the body actually needs to heal. He developed his own innovative and corrective technique utilizing the Activator Method of chiropractic adjusting. An activator is a handheld device that delivers accurate, gentle, low-force care to a chiropractic patient.

Love Dr.Mary she does wonders to my body. Puts everything right back in it's place. Meaning she adjust everything that I put out of place . I don’t normally leave reviews but, Dr.Chris Wertin is amazing! He was to handle physical problems that I mistaking thought where permanent. He helped me beyond what I thought was possible. I really appreciate help and the professionalism of he and his staff have provided for me. If you are considering visiting them DO IT! I’kk bet you will leave as beaming and happy as I am!

Dr Chris is literally a Medical Messiah. There is not enough space or time to write what this man has done for so many people.. myself included.
He has perfected his own unique technique that is unlike any other chiropractor I've ever been to in my entire life and I've been to a lot. He will find and fix things on you that either others didn't find or others said couldn't be fixed.

Advanced was able to take me in on very short notice and when I was in a great deal of pain. Doctor Kyle did an awesome job over the short period he had to work with me as I was leaving town within a couple of days. I also have a titanium plate in my neck so I am very leery of having my necked cracked. Doctor Kyle took my concerns seriously and made sure I knew he would use an alternative method to help me. The entire team there was great and made me as comfortable as possible considering the pain I was in. Within a few days of treatment my almost debilitating pain was gone. I also went to see
