Been here about 5 times over the last few months with a variety of scrap metals from home renovations. They always have staff ready outside with forklifts for big appliances like a water heater or stove, which releases me from unloading them. You grab a cart and load up any smaller metals or piping. They move pretty quick to weigh all your scrap and get your price settled. They have an automated teller now so no waiting for a cashier after weighing up. Overall, pretty easy process.

Always had a decent experience at Express until today when this wiry guy treated me with great disrespect. He was very condescending about using the cash machine. They held onto my bin and then he tried to make me feel stupid for not making sure I asked for it back. I felt like I was in Jr. High School again. Shame. Used to be a nice place to visit. Not worth the aggravation.

Revision of my previous review---
5 stars is still my rating. I've been coming here for several years now, from the first time I went to a scrap yard with no clue how it all works.
The staff are very helpful and friendly, and every trip I make is a good experience. They have a very smooth system for customers, whether you stop weekly or are a first time visitor.
There are flat carts for loading when you pull in to park, and it's easy to find or wave to an employee if you need a bin. There are a lot of carts, so don't feel like its all gotta fit on one.
Sort your metals as much as you can, or

Worst experience in years. Been in before but I go in just in case if things/policies have changed. Asked the guy at the checkout can I just bring in my bags of cans on the trolley and roll them in? He says sure. I go and start unloading on the trolley and this other guy comes up and tells me that I can not supposed to park where I am just as I finish unloading on the cart. It was where other cars were and there were no signs or anything. So I shrug and move the 20 feet and park. Then the same guy says I can't put them on the trolleys (which the guy next to me is doing as at the moment and I already

They screwed me over big time I had 10 pounds of #1 copper, 6 pounds of stainless, 5 pound of brass and 40 pounds of cast aluminum. They gave me my receipt and every item on it was 2 pounds or less i'm glad I didn't bring my trailer with a bigger load. I should have realized that the guy weighing my stuff asked me to stand away from eye shot of the screen so I couldn't see the weight totals.

Super low prices on aluminum. Not worth the drive for $0.08 per pound. Two cents per pound on steel. They take advantage of people's good deeds by giving nothing out. I should have gotten at least $10-15 and I got 1.42 for recycling a bicycle. Better is to dump it and let them sort it out at the waste handling plants like they already do.
