I had hired Alan Burton about eight years ago. I was going through a messy separation with our two year old son involved. Alan had explained that my case was very complex and that it would be a long drawn out process. He required a $7,000.00 deposit. I paid it because I was really in a pinch to find a lawyer. After a month or two I stopped hearing from him and my son’s father and I worked it out on our own. I reached out to Alan countless times for an invoice of services and never could get a hold of him. Hopefully I can save someone reading this time and money. Look elsewhere for a trusted lawyer

I had hired Mr.Burton for a child custody case. Gave him $7000 dollars because he claimed that with our case there would be a lot of witnesses to gather. I was desperate for a lawyer and had little time. My son's father and I ended up working things out on our own. When I asked Alan for an invoice of his services he just simply didn't reply. That was about 3 years ago. This Facebook seems a little outdated but if I can even help one person from hiring a crap lawyer it would make me feel a little better!
