Service was great but food was not good. Also, after my daughters wedding I had left a purse that meant a lot to me ( it was my moms purse and since she passed away it was very dear to me). I called crazzy and he acted like he would send it back. I told him after I receive it I would send him 20.00 for the efforts to mail it back to me. I never received it. I contacted him 3 or 4 times and no response. He just simply ignored me. I guess he just wanted our money dollar (which was a very large amount) I'm very disappointed and sad.

It was fun but when I asked for some sort of medicine for my migraines (which I had talked to the nurse and crazy) my counselor made me sit threw a loud movie before giving it to me I didn't let that stop my fun as I was singing along but I was in pain and when I wanted to give a call to my mom because I was home sick I was denied, when me and my mother were reassured when we came in for a tour and giving the payment that I would be able to call her

We would never send our child back to this place, waste of money. He learned a lot of very inappropriate things from his cabin mates and when he told the counselors they did nothing about it. There were kids torturing and killing lizards for fun and the counselors turned a blind eye. Be very careful what your child is exposed to!

When I was browsing for camp, there were not too many for 6 years old, and Camp Wasewagan welcomed kids from 6 years old.
First time I let three of my kids in stayaway camp. Options are available for one week, two or even eight weeks. My kids, who are 6,8,9, loved it. They got to bike ride in nature while observing bugs and insects, lizard hunting, fencing, climbing, archery, ziplining, watersliding and horseback riding. Pretty much everything that they won't be able to do with me. O.O
I was surprised that my 6 yrs old loved it and none of my kids were excited of me picking them up. Lol

As a professional photographer and videographer in the wedding industry, it's rare that to find a rare gold mine of a wedding venue. If you live in Southern California, it's hard to find a location that is truly a malleable venue space.
With the right team of cinematographers and photographers, you can have some of the most amazing coverage in this Angelus Oaks, CA
Check out examples of some of the work I've done there with Prince Weddings!https://www.princeweddings.net/blog/2020/9/1/wasewagan-summer-camp-photo

I had a pretty sad experience with this Camp. I was trying to plan my camp at this location and was told that if I give a heads up 30 to 60days in advance I would receive my deposit back.
I reached out about 45-50 days before my event and informed them we had to cancel and was not refunded my deposit nor was I able to apply it to a later date.
Extremely disappointed with Craig, thought he would help me out since we communicated alot

I am a seasoned wedding coordinator and recently worked with Camp Wasewagan on a very unique wedding. With so many unconventional moving pieces during the 8 month planning process, Crazy (the owner of the camp ground) was amazing to work with. He was quick to respond, eager to accommodate and happy to do so. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the staff is exceptionally accommodating. Its easy to see the love he puts into making the camp grounds a place that everyone can enjoy. Camp Wasewagan is San Diego Events Company APPROVED!

CRAZZY'S WASEWAGAN CAMPGROUND is crazy good!
- Good Food
- Affordable
- Chock full of activities included in the price. Such as crafts, archery and campfire.
- The activity room is open-door-policy that has foosball and boardgames. You can also put your food bag in the activity room which doubles as the dining cabin. That's what everyone was doing and I did it too and I did not lose food or container or water bottle.
- For extra, you can pay for other activities such as swimming, scavenger hunt, mountain biking.
- The campfire is led by the entire Crazzy Wasewagan team and they lead

They gave my son peanuts in his smores, not bothering to ask if he was allergic. 2 epipens and a trip to the ER later, my son is alive but very shaken and traumatized by the experience. There was one point where he threw up and his airways were closing, but the EpiPen worked in time for us to get him to the hospital. After my son stabilized, around 10pm I called the camp to find out what had happened. When I talked to Craig, the owner, his attitude was horrendous. He basically said it was not their fault they didnt know my son had an allergy. I told him that it's his responsibility to find

We brought our Girl Scout troop here in May of 2017 and had a fantastic time. It was a huge plus for us tired leaders as all the activities and meals were lead by the staff. We got to participate and enjoy all the programs with our scouts. All of the staff were so nice and it felt like we were part of a big family. The lodgings were comfortable and the surroundings beautiful. Our girls loved the archery, ropes course, craft time, fishing, fencing, hiking and more. I highly recommend this for troops wanting a weekend camping experience with all the tradition but none of the hassle. A great price

This was the ideal first camp for our daughter. We sent her for a week with her friend. They both loved it, and had all kinds of fun doing the classic foundational away-camp stuff. The counselors really enjoy their work, a fact that's probably critical to having an enthusiastic and adventurous camp experience for the campers. Crazzy, too, is awesome and seems to be correctly proud of the legacy the camp is and will leave in the kids who stay there.

We had our wedding here. I must say that this was everything me and my partner could have imagined. The staff was by far so amazing and understanding of what we wanted. We would not praise them enough for the patience and attention to our schedule and set up.
We did a three day wedding weekend. See more at www.rjedwed.com. Wedding Friday and camp fun throughout the weekend.
If you are looking for a very homey relaxing camp get together for a group of 50 or more then is a great place and so close to LA that there is no reason for your friends and family to want to go anywhere else.

The staff are amazing and wonderful. The atmosphere was so welcoming and warm that it felt like another home. The food is homemade, healthy and delicious. Cabins are clean, safe, and tidy/organized. There are several outdoor activities such as paintball shooting, archery, zip-lining, rock climbing, swimming and many more. There is a beautiful and tranquil (calm) river and the hospitality is great. I really enjoyed my first recent visit and hope to come back soon! I would love for everyone to choose Crazzy's Camp Wasewagan!

Both of my son's have been going to Crazzy's camps since they were 4 and 6 years old -- they are 13 and 15 now. 4 weeks each summer. They LOVE it and we love that they get to spend time with great kids, doing regular old camp stuff like hiking, archery, swimming, arts and crafts, camp fires and so much more. My older son is now looking at being a counselor. Life long memories, friends and priceless experience!!!!!

Best ever crazzy is awesome the counselors are just there to have fun and watch over you so you feel that you aren't under some huge authority. From the Times I've been there, it's amazing. except for the food but hey what are you gonna do. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ps: I wish I could go more often it's the only fun way to get out of the house.

My children have attended summer camp here for many, many years and the staff is always attentive, helpful, polite, and great with the kids. The owner, "Crazzy" Craig, is like a father figure to many and he really does everything so the children will have a great experience. Thanks so much for taking great care of my children and for teaching them so many things about being outdoors and about life.
