Practicing for over 14 years as a board-certified Ophthalmologist, Dr. Benjamin B. Chun has completed more than 7,000 cataract surgical procedures and over 10,000 laser procedures. In addition to providing general eye care, he also treats glaucoma, diabetes-related eye conditions, macular degeneration, and dry eye.

He currently serves as the Medical Director of The Cataract & Laser Institute of Pittsburgh. Dr. Chun graduated from a combined program from Dartmouth and Brown Universities with a medical degree. The Cataract & Laser Institute is committed to providing exceptional quality and compassionate eye care services.

Dr. Bethany James, Board Certified Optometrist, has been a valuable addition to the doctor staff of The Cataract and Laser Institute of PA. She comes to us with years of experience and a wealth of knowledge in many aspects of ophthalmology and optometry. Dr. James has specialized training in an ophthalmology setting caring for disorders of the cornea and anterior segment of the eyes.
