Most of the stars go towards the incredibly kind, helpful, and just overall nice people the own and run this market! We are in here pretty often and every time we walk in - "Hi! How are you guys doing!" with so much enthusiasm. That goes a long way!

The ONLY reason I have it at 4 stars is because we were a little bummed with the food we ordered the other day. We had heard that the burgers here were great but they were not for us :( Maybe it was an off day (We are hoping), but we will definitely give them another chance!

A random Google search led us here, we were looking for some tasty vegan breakfast tacos. This place is a well rounded, eclectic little market with a small kitchen that makes various breakfast, lunch, or dinner (depending on the time of day) menu items from mostly scratch.
The vegan lunch tacos were served on two smaller corn tortillas with plenty of filling to allow you to eat the first taco over the plate and whatever falls out is folded up and makes the second one. The hot sauce was spicy and appeared fresh made. Most of their menu items are not vegan, but what we ate had fresh ingredients

They are cheap incompetent business owners. Swindled to think the rewards system actually works. It’s a lure to take your money and false advertising at it’s best. Avoid at all costs.
600+points racked up here and as advertised each customer gets a free taco which costs 100 points of that total. The checkout clearly says free taco and they ended up charging me for a taco and saying it’s not completely free.
Horrible customer service and a waste of money

I just stopped here after a doctors appointment and I love this place! There’s a lot of healthy choices in this convenience store and if I lived in this area I come something yummy and fresh here all the time. I just ate the Slow cooked pollo and it was absolutely amazing! I’ll stop by again when I’m around!

Lovely market! Convenience without sacrificing quality. The kitchen is open until 3pm and their breakfast tacos are always so good. My favorite thing besides the welcoming staff is the rewards! Best of both worlds when it comes to shopping and eating.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I loved the veggie Dagwood sandwich. There were also vegan options (but I didn't try those). The market is so cute with lots of specialty items that are reasonably priced. The bathrooms are clean and the parking was also very easy. Can't wait to come back soon!

Good burger, though I wish the online ordering system had a spot to remove or specify the cheese on the regular cheeseburger, because it comes with American. It's not mentioned outside the name ("cheeseburger") so that was an unpleasant surprise. Clearly very fresh though.

I really like the diversity - what a wine selection! - of the items at this small unpretentious market hidden at the movie theatre center off of Southwest Parkway. Go soon, as I'm not sure they can keep going.

Marigold, like so many other retail outlets, depends on workers and people going to the movies for the majority of its business. With people declining to go out and working from home, my guess would be they're getting slammed financially.

Now, if you are in the area, stop by. This is not your mama's convenience store. Yes, they have the usual items a c-store does (sans gas

I feel fortunate to have this market down the street. It's a breeze to pop in for breakfast tacos (and their online ordering makes quick even quicker!), curries, iced teas, any assortment of beverages, and a good selection of pantry items and gifts.

Been wanting to try the Kombucha on tap but can't make it before 3pm!

Ah, I love this cute place. We recently moved nearby and it's a great neighborhood market to have.

The cafe serves up delicious bites and is very accommodating--I get the veggie sandwich gluten free, but add grilled chicken and minus the tomato. It is so freakin good, I always wolf it down. And the fries! Oh the fries are so good, with some kind of seasoning salt that makes them addictive.

The market itself has tons of stuff, covering all your random needs and wants.

I'll call it like it is. This place is actually nice inside and they have quite a bit of selection.
But this place is a jack of all trades master of none. The only reason its getting great reviews is because of the location. It allows the convenience of not having to sit at that TREACHEROUS light at Oak Hill and not have to drive all the way down Southwest Parkway and make 2 or 3 stops. If this place was on South Lamar something would have to give.
Are the tacos the best in the Area? No. Is their beer selection the best in the area? No. Are their prices the best in the area? Not even close, but

This is a great convenience store. They have a lot better variety and higher quality items than most such places. I also love the little cafe and sitting area.

Awesome place! Salima (owner) is sooo nice. I came in to avoid large crowds at the grocery stores given the health situation and pick up a few things. She was the best. There were a few things I was looking for that weren't on display and she went back into the walk in refrigerated area and found everything needed.

She was very thankful for the business and excited to meet someone who just moved into the area. Additionally, they have a cafe with good food and serve both beer and kombucha on tap. What more could you want in a place?? The interior is also really beautifully done.

Cute little local market by my office. It's a step and upgrade from 7-11. They sell all the essentials as a convenience store would -- BUT MORE.

I ordered a Carne Taco for lunch. $5. A little overpriced for what I'm used to paying for tacos, but for the convenience and proximity, I can see myself coming here again. And the taco itself was good. Not your typical dirty street tacos with just onions and cilantro, this was more on the fusion side of flavors.

SW Parkway needed a spot like this!! Since there isn't any type of gas station on SW Parkway corridor, it makes sense to have a modern day "corner store". The market has all the hot and popular and trendy food items ( E.g. think Larry's cookies and protein bars), as well as last minute staples (bread, milk anyone?), along with a selection of beers and wines. Their is also a fresh food cafe that serves delicious burgers, tacos, and Indian fair such as samosas. Cool vending/drink machines and make your own Kombucha! A little something for everyone.

The good:
Great selection of snacks, drinks, ice cream, and other yummies you might want in a pinch.
My husband's burger was apparently awesome.
The not so good:
I ordered the gluten-free incredible burger. The menu said it came on a gluten-free bun. They served it on a gluten bun, and then told me I hadn't ordered it gluten-free. They re-made it for me. So if you are celiac, be cautious and make sure the employees know what's up. They actually have a decent selection of gf stuff, but be careful with the cafe.

What a GEM! Super convenient, aesthetically meticulous, with amazing flavor.

The tacos are hard to stop eating because they're so good! Each bite gives you the right amount of spice and texture so you don't feel like you're overindulging. I got the Mahi-Mahi and chicken tacos and they were just fantastic.

The grocery prices are a little more than your big chain retailers, but it's so worth it knowing it's local & much more convenient than driving the 15+ minutes to HEB (with much better quality, too).

Had the cheeseburger. It was YUUUGE. The bun was PERFECT. The meat was juicy and delicious. The veggies were fresh, too. It blows Hat Creek, Whatabuger, In-n-Out, etc. out of the water. I think those places are about the same price, if not more.

The building is half mini-mart, half cafe. The vibe is cool. There is outdoor seating. Plenty of choices on the menu for those that prefer gluten-free or vegan. It looks like the place is run by a family, and (assuming that's correct) it was very cool to see three generations working together.

Highly recommend

Love everything about this place!!! 10/10

The menu is great, the food delicious and my personal favorite the breakfast migas tacos which are the best I've found anywhere! The owners are extremely helpful and friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The market and cafe itself is beautifully designed with a huge selection of speciality food and drinks... Kombucha on tap, craft beer on tap, freshly brewed coffees, milkshakes etc.

Absolutely fantastic food. We had the Carne and Mahi tacos which were an excellent size, taste, and price. The signature burger was cooked to perfection with great mango salsa. 10/10 will be coming back for food and essentials.
