Their cold cuts department is staffed by people who don't understand Russian, are rude and never use the right thickness for the meats or cheeses. It's really annoying. The ready made food is average. A lot is simply not tasty and the baked pirogis and blinchiki are often old and you can taste the refrigerator age on them. I only come here for the bread and packaged stuff these days. I'd rather make a trip to Brooklyn every 2 weeks for the good stuff.

This store is easy to find right off of route 4. It has a great premade hot food bar...I stop in to pick up dinner for my family when I dont have time to cook. It is reasonably priced and has a great selection of Eastern European food. I don't shop here for food staples to stock my pantry, it is definitely more of a specialty store.

Conveniently located just off Route 4, this store offers a variety of specialty and Eastern European foods. There is a large selection of ready to eat prepared foods in a salad bar/ hot bar arrangement, a large selection of cheeses, and a well stocked deli section with friendly service. True to its original name, Gourmanof, there are plenty of Russian and Ukraine foods. There are enough fresh produce, dairy, and bakery items to complete your shopping list, but I personally look to this store as a place to find things to add some variety to our menu rather than a place to find staple items for the

I recently was in NYC for a visit and had a strong craving for some Russian, Kavkazi, Bucharian food. Someone mentioned NetCost to me as a place where I can find it all, so I decided to check them out. I'm sooooo glad I did. Their home style meals satisfied all my cravings. Online ordering was super easy, delivery was on time and food was delicious. I had a mix of salads, kebabs and my absolute favorite Chicken Kiev! Everything was flavorful and tasted very authentic.

This NetCost Market is way smaller then the ones I'm used to in Philadelphia & Brooklyn, the selection is a bit smaller however they do still have a big selection of Russian goods that you cannot find in other standard stores, lots of ready Russian salads and dishes, there's plenty of parking and prices are fair.

I went to the store today and the security guard was following me. He was upset, that I don't ware a mask (i had a mask on, but not on my nose). I explained him that i have a difficulty breathing, but pretty much he said he doesn't care. Moreover, he asked me to leave the store and was threatening with police. So, when i came out of the store, he called me Stupid because i came out There is no reasonable action of the security guard, because for the 20 minutes i was taping, I found 18 people including the same security not wearing a mask on their nose. Nobody else had the same rule

Big selection of food , prepared food , salted fish and caviar display and bread ,cakes looked delicious, alot of imported goods . Reasonable prices , ample parking. You need store card to get the discounts . You can apply to get it online and use your phone number at the cashier . Highly recommend this place. Clean and organized. Definitely going back again.

Now in the times of the pandemic this store has started doing internet orders for delivery, so my review is primarily on the customer service surrounding that. I've placed two large orders so far, over $200 each (the second being over $250), and I selected the "call me" option in case of substitutions on both. The first order went smoothly, the shopper called me several times regarding what he could and couldn't find, until the order was complete. The only thing I wasn't entirely happy with that time was that they sent me Korean carrots that literally expired the next day

When our visiting the one at 3100 Ocean Ave showed the amazing glitz and perfect best supermarket in the world was under renovation into an even shinier more amazing Gourmanoff (Net Cost's top tier of market and service to guests) Market, I was both excited at the possibility of an even better market there but then turned my attention to this backup market whose cafe, Gourmanoff Bakery, I've visited 3x before, so I was very excited to now visit the parent, especially as I've had an anxious day which beer, bread, and cheese will always resolve.

Vegetables are always fresh, organic chicken never smells, everything is good except the rude staff including cashiers, and they only speak Russian! Learn English people!!!!! And the customers that think they can leave the line and come back to where they were standing, doesn't work that way buddy. Ignorance

WARNING: some of the fish sold here is treated with CO. Typically this is done to fish from China. It makes the fish look bright and fresh, though that couldn't be farther from the truth. Many supermarkets in the US refuse to sell fish treated with CO. It is very unhealthy to consume such fish. Check the labels!

My favorite place to shop, if it was not for the crowded place (difficult to navigate) and long lines, I would have gave it 5 stars because it is that good.
It is a Gem hidden in southern Brooklyn.
Pros:
English signs with description (I am not an Easter European so I gabruit nemanoshka ruskie).
Prices are very very competitive
The selection is incredible in comparison to any nation or international food store.
The staff is friendly ( I know! Strange for Russians)
They have a delivery ( I don't use it since I live in the city but it's a pro)
The cooked food is amazing and the
