Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc., began as Kroeze Funeral Home, Inc. in 1958. It was founded by George J. Kroeze, a first generation funeral home owner, and was located on the corner of Main and Stewart Streets in Fremont. In 1973, George Kroeze purchased the Schuiteman-DeKuiper Funeral Home building at 637 E. Main Street in Fremont, and he moved his business to this location, where it has remained ever since.
We, at Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, are guided by our commitment to provide services, which are truly personalized, meaningful, and dignified to the families who have entrusted the final care of their loved ones to us. As a result, we pay close attention to every possible detail. Our goal is to exceed the expectations of our families by working closely with them to individualize and personalize the funeral services.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).

Mr. Wolffis is a. Wonderful helpful man. He has helped my family with $1400 or less in funeral expenses. Some feel a cremation is not the way to go but we had him do the cremation and we had a family gathering at our home. Much more of happy memories than a crying memory. The pastors will do your services where you are having your gathering. I can not brag enough on how he has treat our family. He is a great man who goes out of his way to make you feel less pressured..
