Having been through the process of hiring an agency for my own mother, I know the frustrations. Many of the caregivers that we worked with were wonderful, caring people but they were not trained properly. And, there always seemed to be a communication gap between me (the client), the care company, and the caregivers.

My experience with harmony is incredible, Freda is an amazing women. She works very hard who loves and cares about her clients. She always checks everything is going good. I can say thru the years I have worked here She has always had hours for me to work. I recommend harmony because everyone here is well trained and well staffed. I have dealt with a company, that claimed they were like the one run by, Fredda Gammon. It was a huge mistake. Once I met with Freda and discussed the care that her agency could be provide, the professionalism that was abundantly clear. Wow!
She is exceptional in what she does. She has great people that work for her and I have never had a complaint about any ot them. My favorite caregiver is Holly-Sue. She is always tender and caring with myself and my wife. Helpful can't even begin to describe it.

I don't know how she does it but Freda fills all the roles as owner, manager, scheduler, and customer service for Harmony Home Care, and she does a wonderful job! She seems to be always available to discuss any issue, and tries to find the best caregivers to fit our needs. My mom is 88 and has some special needs requiring care 24/7, day and night. Freda was able to find four wonderful caregivers in order to arrange 12 hour shifts to meet our needs. After using several home care agencies to help provide care for my mother who has dementia and physical disabilities, I was fortunate to discover Freda and Harmony Home Care. From the very first meeting, I knew Freda understood exactly what I needed and worked to provide wonderful caregivers who have been excellent. We hired Harmony Home Care caregivers for 24 hour care for our mother, for almost 6 months. The caregivers are very professional and trustworthy. We never had an issue with any of them, and they always provided coverage, even through COVID-19 worries. Standout caregivers were Patty (wonderful!!) and Virginia (also wonderful for the night shift), but they ALL were good. We are ever so grateful and definitely recommend.

Freda and her team of caregivers have been kind, caring and professional in the time when our family needed help the most. Day and night, week after week each caregiver came to help my mother in law after her stroke, meeting us from the day we came home from the hospital until she had recovered so well we could say goodbye. Virginia, the care person from harmony home care does a great job helping me around my place as I recover from my stroke. She makes sure to keep us both safe by wearing a mask, washing her hands often and when her help is not needed makes sure to keep her distance.

My 88 year old mother had a stroke and fell last year. This is the first time since my father passed away 10 years ago that she required around the clock care. Suggested by a family friend, Freda Gammon and Harmony Home Care stepped up and made what is a very difficult and emotional situation, much easier to handle.

Caregivers are caring and professional. They communication well with me, and made every effort to adapt and provide the best care for my mom's needs. I loved how Diane, Patty and Kristine made my mom laugh and gave companionship a priority. My mother is so happy to have her daily visit with Charisse who she calls, her friend, who is now with her every day between 1-6pm. She takes her on an outing every day whether it be around the block in her wheelchair or to Nixon library or to her weekly hair appointment. She feeds her, helps her get dressed and does daily stretches and puzzle games with her to keep her mind sharp. Harmony Home Care (714-657-6999) is a first class business. They are professional, yet personal. They are rated A on the Better Business Bureau website, licensed, bonded and insured. I was concerned that their caregiver might have a shady background, but my fears were put to rest because they run a DOJ fingerprint background check on all of their employees. My heart is happy because of the excellent care my dad is receiving from Harmony Home Care. My dad came home from the hospital almost a month ago and the care he has been receiving is a blessing. Both he and my mom have been cared for in a kind, gentle and loving way. The team of care assistants have been very attentive, patient, encouraging, cheerful, and professional.
