Affinia care providers are highly experienced Caregivers, some certified as Home Health Aides or Nurse's Assistants. Each one is qualified through a comprehensive screening process including extensive interviews, skills competency tests and a national criminal background check. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY!!!
All of their advertising states that they perform "stringent background checks and screening." That is absolutely not the case. They essentially run ads on Craigslist for caregivers and shuttle new unscreened caregivers to your house as fast as they can hire them.
They literally interviewed one of our caregivers at Starbucks for 15 minutes, hired her on the spot, and took her to my mother's house immediately thereafter.
Their service was so bad that at one point we had 7 different caregivers over a two-week period with each new caregiver worse than the prior.

The caregivers for my mom are great at their job. I like how attentive they are and are always keeping busy with other tasks when my mom doesn't need personal attention. I also appreciate the responsiveness of the agency owner. I call her day or night and she's available. I'm glad someone told me about this agency. I'll happily recommend them to anybody looking for caregivers.
