Woodworking is both my passion and my profession. I use only genuine materials and genuine techniques, often milling and shaping each piece by hand. Two ideas drive my work: 1. creating a unique piece with a specific person, place and purpose in mind. 2. Building something that will last generations, becoming part of the culture of a home.

I've built many things, including coffee tables, stools, dining tables, custom built-in cabinets, toy boxes, chess boards, wedding boxes, benches, bathroom vanities and custom doors. Be the first name on your family's next heirloom. I love to create things for people who appreciate honest craftsmanship and the individuality that should accompany the furnishings we choose for our homes.
Services
Maybe you've had a picture in your head for years-of your dream dining room table, a rustic sliding barn door, or the perfect mantle to complement your cozy fireplace. Maybe you saw a beautiful coffee table in that charming B&B in Maine but never thought it could be yours. Some people look at that quirky nook in their home and wonder what would turn that space into a functional, unique, conversation piece.
Quality is the bottom line. I prefer to use the finest, most genuine materials available for all of my projects, personal and professional. Most furniture pieces are best built out of solid wood, which allows for visible joinery, such as dovetails. Solid wood construction lends itself to tradition, which can mean a great deal in furniture building.
Nothing grabs peoples' attention quite like precise, crisp, carefully executed trim work-except poorly executed trim work. Quality millwork installation involves much more than careful cuts. Installing things in the correct order, using the proper fasteners, adhesives and materials are all critical to a perfect job that stays perfect for decades.
