Granite Bay Woodworks & Remodeling LLC, owned and operated by Ellis B. In business since 2002, GBW&R offers contracting and design as well as build services for architects and interior designers chosen by the client.

Prior to starting GBW&R, Ben served as the Technical Director for two Connecticut regional theaters, Long Wharf Theatre (1990-96) and The Hartford Stage Company (1999-2002).

Exterior renovations include design, building and general contracting. Screened-in porches, entryways, and archways are custom built to blend with the distinctive syle of each home. GBW&R works with skilled craftsmen who will treat your home with the care you would expect. GBW&R has been building custom windows and doors since its inception.
Customer delivered a bowling alley to Granite Bay and asked me to make a table and benches for their new home! GBW&R has a reputation for creating beautiful furniture and specialty pieces for homes along the Connecticut shoreline. The skills Ben acquired in the theater and in his remodeling business developed his unique ability to find creative solutions for a variety of woodworking and remodeling challenges.
