Elizabeth Holmes Travel Inc. (EHTI) was founded in 1991. After over 20 years in Fremont, the self-proclaimed center of the Universe in Seattle, we are now in Georgetown. We have enjoyed continuous, steady growth even through the biggest travel industry slumps, largely through word of mouth.

We have also become trusted consultants and suppliers to tour operators and travel media entities including Rick Steves' Europe Through the Back Door, Rudy Maxa, the Savvy Traveller, Earthbound Expeditions and Tofino Expeditions.Most recently we were recommended in the National Geographic's Adventure Magazine for travel to and within Australia.

Travelling to Europe is such an adventure, and one that never gets old, because there's always another place to explore. When you travel through Europe, you're really walking through living history - these bustling cities and peaceful small towns are living, breathing windows into the past. Many of the buildings are as much as 2,000 years old - take a walk around Rome, for example, and you'll see what we mean.

Australia and New Zealand aren't as far away as you think - and once you're there, you'll be so glad you made the journey, as you're rewarded with incredible attractions, adventures, and local treasures. If you need some convincing, here are some reasons everyone should visit this lovely destination at least once in their lifetime.

Hawaii was born in fire, and to this day, volcanos both active and dormant loom large over these islands. This geothermal activity has created a spectacularly wild environment teeming with life. If you're in an active mood, head off into the rugged interior on a nature hike. You can explore lush rainforests and marvel and the awe of torrential waterfalls that fill the air with thunder (and a refreshing mist after a long hike).

There's nothing quite like a journey to the incredibly diverse, culturally rich continent of Africa. Africa is home to over 135 UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the Okavango Delta, iSimangoliso Wetlands, and Victoria Falls. The continent features an incredibly diverse variety of environments, from grassy savannas to lush rainforests, each bursting with wildlife.
