Services
With over 40 years of experience, Beck's has earned a reputation for excellence in chimney service and repair. Our technicians are CSIA Certified Chimney Sweeps, the highest level credentials in the industry, and we participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay on top of the latest advances in our industry.
Your chimney should be inspected once a year to ensure that everything is in good, working condition. We offer Level I and Level II inspections, depending on the needs of your system. All of our technicians are certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA). This certification ensures that we provide you with the highest quality, most reliable service for your fireplace and chimney.
Dryer vents are an essential part of your home, but if they are not cared for properly, they can become a fire hazard. When dryer vents become clogged, clothes tend to take more than one cycle to dry. Cleaning your dryer vent can not only help your clothes dry faster but also reduce the risk of fire in your home.
Beck's Chimney Sweep is hiring entry level candidates with room for growth. We understand that learning a skilled trade has to start somewhere. We teach you the trade through on the job training. You'll work side-by-side with a Certified Technician, learning how to sweep a chimney, how to service and repair gas fireplace systems, and how to complete brick repairs and more.

Critical: Responsiveness
Beck’s “installed” a top mount damper on a fireplace. Has not worked properly since installation. We’ve had technicians out to our house several times and nothing has solved our problem. Called early in the morning and was told a manager would call back-received no call. $700 should be refunded

I called Beck's for a second opinion after another local "Chimney and Masonry" company ("Company A") quoted me over $5,000 to "fix" my chimney. Company "A" warned me that my chimney was so bad, that we could start a house fire the very next time we tried to use it.
Beck's inspectors showed up and began their work. They immediately found that Company "A" left a lot of soot and ash behind my damper and smoke shelf. Company "A" simply cleaned the chimney letting most of the flammable debris sit above/next the fireplace.
Becks completed their inspection, showed me a live feed of my chimney and explained

I really enjoyed the professionalism and friendliness of Joe the technician. Best of all he educated me on how the fireplace works and showed me what everything looked like in my chimney flue. Having a gas fireplace in my home is new to me so I needed a crash course which he was willing and enthusiastic to provide. He also fixed a few things that were not correct to make my fireplace safe and to code. He took great care in covering the area where he worked and cleaned up completely before he left. I will definitely call Becks again for my future fireplace cleaning and repair.

We moved into our house in July and wanted to be sure we had the chimney cleaned and inspected before using it this fall/winter. Although they were scheduling a bit far out (this is on us- we should've called earlier!), I was very impressed with the service. Richard was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. He did a very thorough inspection and provided several suggestions to preserve the longevity of our fireplace and chimney. Highly recommend!

I really wanted to like/refer this service more since they are local and our technician was pleasant. We arranged for a sweep/inspection and a damper clip install for our fireplace as we bought an older house and did not know the last time the it had been serviced outside of what was on our inspection report. Upon arrival, the technician said he couldn't install the damper clip because he didn't have it and the one we had in the current one was the wrong model. Then said our ignitor for the fireplace wouldn't work but couldn't fix it and that we would have to hire another company. We waited around
