I had the pleasure of working with Kara of the High Beam Events team during SXSW 2014. Kara worked with her client to host an event at my place of employment, Capital Factory. She was incredibly friendly, communicative, professional, detail oriented, and organized throughout the entire process.
As a fellow event coordinator, I truly appreciated the thoroughness and took comfort in knowing our venue would not only be respected but also left in great condition. The Capital Factory team would love to work with and host the High Beam Events staff and clients again in the future.

Do not use this event planning company. You don't need them. Anything they do, you can easily organize yourself. Who cares if they are the "recommended" event planner of the festival. that just translates into more $$$. High Beam will tell you certain venues are unavailable, they will tell you things cannot be done, they will lie and they will charge your credit card without telling you. Trust me, it all happened to us. Things I was told by our event manager, Callie (who disappeared the morning of the day of the event, never to be seen again) which she stated were not possible, I

I am so happy to give High Beam a great review. Their team of professional event planners (and all of the vendors they work with) made my client's event a HUGE success. Kelsey worked with me from the beginning concept, throughout all of my client's changes, and even throughout the event itself. Her keen attention to detail, and knowledge of the event made my life so much easier.
Additionally, High Beam has awesome connections with vendors in Austin. I gave Kelsey an idea of what I wanted, and she worked with me to make it happen (even at the very last minute).

High Beam is the best!!! I recently worked an event for The International Society Of Event Specialists and High Beam did all of the production for the event. They knocked it out of the park!! They also do ALL of the official parties for SXSW. No party is to large or complicated for High Beam Events. Sam Staples and her team of experts are totally friendly and creative. Use them for your next party, you won't be disappointed.
