Come and join some fun girls painting a mini 12in x 12in barn quilt! It's a different design every month. This is the pattern, colors vary by choice! Be sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on, and bring a small ruler and rotary cutter. This class is to help you understand how your embroidery machine works by tackling new projects and techniques each month.

A very nicely organized shop with great fabrics, samples and embroidery threads. I was admiring a Featherweight 222 on display and having a conversation with an employee about it. Out of nowhere this employee, or perhaps the owner, felt the need to inform me, “You couldn’t afford it.” I had never asked it it was for sale. I happen to own two and use them regularly. It was a very condescending remark and didn’t relate to anything I had said. Today was my second time at this shop. My first time in this shop was in November last year and my experience was immaculate. Such a great variety and selection of fabric. The staff was so very friendly and knowledgeable. I came back to this shop again today to get some more fabric and thread for some projects that I have been working on, and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of new fabric that they had in the store from the last time that I was there! I was told that they actually just got in a few new lines of fabric today and I had to grab some to have on hand. This is by far my favorite

It’s great to have this shop in Wake Forest! This shop is neat and organized, with space for classes. It’s smaller in square footage under new ownership; however, that’s not a bad thing. The fabric selection is nice with enough variety to keep you occupied while browsing. And their class list is large and varied with a nice monthly newsletter to keep customers informed about class schedules and new fabrics. This is a family owned business with friendly and knowledgeable customer service. I hope to eventually see online shopping for their fabrics.

I sporadically would stop in to pick up thread since it's close to my house. The prints are ok. Some Amy Butler but nothing modern like Cloud 9 or Michael Miller. Pricing is typical for a small shop and I like to support local businesses when I can. A few weeks ago I stopped in to pick up thread and I wanted to check out their sale fabric. As I was walking into the back room where they keep it, I was asked by someone who I assumed worked there if I needed any assistance and I replied "No thank you, just want to check out your sale fabric." Then the woman said "I wish you
