Do you know what type of chimney liner you have? Many homes have a terra cotta flue tile liner. While these liners are very effective as heat insulators they are also very brittle and usually crack when they are exposed to thermal shock. National Fire Code 211 (NFPA 211) recommends these liners be repaired or replaced when they crack.
Chimney liners are one of the most important features of the chimney. The chimney liner is a material used to line the inside of your chimney and acts as a protector and safety element. Chimney liners are critically important due to the fact that their chief function is to protect your chimney and therefore your home, on many levels.
A boiler's primary function is to heat the water within the system, to provide hot water and heat to a structure. Long Island and Queens homes that use gas or oil energy to feed its boiler system must also have a boiler chimney. Some homes also have the same kind of chimneys for appliances, such as stoves and ovens.
In simple terms, a chimney cap is just what it sounds like; it is a form of a cap, which covers the top of your chimney. Typically, chimney caps are made from either copper or steel because they can withstand the heat that comes from the chimney, as well as endure the harsh beatings of Mother Nature.
Our Certified Chimney Sweeps use state of the art equipment to inspect and sweep your home's chimPre-Fab-Chimney-Illustrationneys. While sweeping your chimney, we pay attention to detect apparent problems that could prevent peak performance. We will also make recommendations and provide information to ensure your chimney burns safely and cleanly.

Furnace evaporator tank was changed by my oil company and the repairman informed me that he was adjusting the flue and something fell and is now blocking the flue pipe and he needs to shut the furnace off until I get the chimney unblocked. This is at 4:30 pm the day before a blizzard 1/27/2022. I Called Alliance and Tony and Brian were at my house in thirty minutes. They unblocked the chimney and we were able to turn on the furnace and we were able to heat the house again. Tony informed me that he would be back the next day with a chimney liner and it would be better then new. Well true to his
