We cannot give enough words of praise for the professional and respectful way Jody Scott and Brad Kyle handled the planning and execution of our mom's service this week. From the first moment these caring men walked into our mom's house to the last moments of the funeral, the family members were showered with love and support. The most marvelous meal was provided and extra care was taken to make sure our mom was prepared for burial to look like the beautiful woman she was. Burpee-Scott is the most caring funeral home. All they care about is taking care if your loved one and the family. I lost my husband and when we called them they assured us they would go and get him. That he would remain in their care until we got there. My husband is a veteran and was cremated. They collect old flags to be disposed of properly. However they save some and when a veteran is cremated they drape their body with one. I can not adequately express my gratitude nor can I reccomend them enough. Awesome, caring people. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

I have waited a month from the date of actually dealing with this insensitive place to post an honest review so that it would be 100% accurate and give them plenty of time to show some of this compassion they speak of in their business summarizations. They didn’t.
After seeing the devastation that loss caused by unexpected deaths in our family, my mother felt the need to pre pay for her funeral services, so as to not leave a burden on myself, my sister, or anyone else. She chose and trusted Burpee-Scott Memorial to carry out her final wishes.

I cannot begin to express how grateful my wife and I are for Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory, and specifically Jody Scott, our funeral director. Our need was not sudden or unexpected, but if it was, I don’t think there would have been any variation in the ease and comfort provided. When I initially began my search, I spoke briefly with Jody on the phone, and he sent me some information to review. When we were facing an unexpected death, Jody and the entire staff at Burpee-Scott really stepped up and helped our family. They worked with us on every detail and answered questions we never thought we’d be asking. Jody was so amazing, calling to ask if there’s anything we need; tables at our house, chairs, ice... he genuinely cares. As hard as our week was, I can’t image how much harder it would have been had we not used Burpee-Scott. When we walked in we felt at home. Jody made sure we had everything for my mother. His staff treated us like family. They went up and beyond to accommodate our every need. Love you momma..
