Do you know where your money goes? One way to increase your profits is to know your income and expenses so you can make informed decisions. If you're like most business owners, however, bookkeeping is just not your skill. For nearly 30 years, Joanna has kept the books for big and small businesses ranging from construction companies, restaurants and hotels to professional practices, retail businesses, and wine competitions.

Joanna transforms complex piles of numbers, bills, and payables into squeaky-clean books that make informed financial decision-making easy. If your business is losing money because it lacks tight cost or project accounting, Joanna Palmer is your "go to" expert.
Services
But all work and no play makes anyone overworked, so Joanna enjoys a variety of interests, including international travel and textile weaving. A regular visitor to Laos, Joanna is involved with www.ockpoptok.com, a small, international company that creates beautiful indigenous woven art for sale internationally.
Run a Balance Sheet, which will give you a snapshot of your financial health so you can quickly get a handle on the financial strength of your business. Pay your bills, run your payroll, issue W2s, 1099s, make sure your business licenses, taxes and other governmental fees are paid - as much or as little as you want or need.
If you are a construction company, you probably know how hard it is to separate costs by job. Without that knowledge, you can't know if you're making a profit, or not. Joanna has specialized in construction companies for over 20 years. As a professional bookkeeper, she has worked with over 125 construction companies.
Because restaurants run a lot of cash, credit, and debit transactions, bookkeeping can be particularly tricky. Sales tax is always a vexing issue. Daily deposits and keeping a close eye on the cost of goods can be the difference between success and failure. Joanna Palmer has worked with dozens of restaurants over the years - from small, "mom and pop" restaurants to large operations grossing close to $1M a year.
High net worth individuals, especially those with real estate investments find Joanna Palmer is a sharp, confidential ally in keeping - and building - their wealth. Whatever your investments, your CPA will easily prepare your taxes from Joanna's work. In addition, Joanna has saved (and protected from loss) her individual clients thousands of dollars through her sharp eye and wise counsel.

I've been working with Joanna for years and she's the best bookkeeper I've ever had. She doesn't do journal entries to make the numbers match like most bookkeepers do - she actually matches up everything down to the penny. And she does this efficiently. I have her doing the books for my two businesses and I'm happy with her.
