Rushed to Russell Medical because my elderly father fell and had a contusion on his head. Waited over an hour to be triaged. We don’t know what made my father blackout, fall, and lose part of his memory but the hospital didn’t seem to care. We were sent back to the waiting room and are still waiting two hours later. I have always heard time was important especially if you have had a stroke. We are now scared and do not know what is going on. When we ask the hospital is replying that the hospital has put priority on patients. Apparently, we are not a priority.

Went to this hospital for outpatient labs only. I signed in and waited for nearly an hour and NO ONE registered me or anything. During the time I was there 2 people came in after me and were registered immediately and one had got done and left!!! For it to be outpatient they were taking “certain” people to the back as if they had appointments..I pray I NEVER have to go to this hospital again!!! I will gladly make the drive to Opelika from today going forward

I don't understand why they won't send her to Birmingham. She has had 10 seziures in 1 hr. If you are sick do not come here. You will die!! They do not care here at all. Worst place ever. I went to the ER because I couldn’t walk and they only gave me a pregnancy test and a pain shot. Dr. Samuel Obiorah didn’t run any test came in and stood at the door and wasn’t in the room 5 minutes. He didn’t check me out listen at me nothing. Then he wrote me a prescription for some medicine that the urgent had already prescribed me. He is nonchalant, talked very low I could hardly hear him, and you can barely understand what he is saying.

Didnt want 2 take my aunts mom 2 the bathroom after asking them 4 times 2 take her then the nurse just slammed her hand down on her board. And her heart rate is very high and they didnt want 2 do anything for that. Do not like this hospital at all. They r a joke. I do not recommend this place at all!!!

I have a friend who is currently in the Russell Medical hospital had a completed total knee replacement, and currently going through rehab, she told me she needed assistance she said it had been 56 minutes since she had call and ask and no one had came to her aid, this is not acceptable, and she has been neglected as a patient at the hospital, and when i came from out of town to take her some items, I seen as I walked through the hospital to her room on the 2nd floor, the employees are steady on the cell phones, and as i walked in her room, i could tell something was wrong, as she is not the one

My wife collapsed - could not move and lost her memory. I called an ambulance who took her to the Russell Medical Center Emergency room. The doctor examined her and said her collapse and loss of memory were not a medical problem but was a social issue and I was to take her home. This was impossible. They tried to get me to sign the release papers which I refused. I left the area for a few minutes and was told my wife signed the release papers. Yes, they forged her signature. At this point two people pulled her off the bed, put her in a wheel chair, took her out of the emergency room and left her
