If you are looking to have bariatric surgery in Mexico, Go Light is a great option! The facilities are very clean and up to date, and all of the medical staff and coordinators are super nice and helpful. The pricing is good and they do not nickel and dime you. The doctors are experienced and clearly care about your success before during and after surgery. I researched this company before booking my surgery and I really couldn’t find anyone who experienced major complications or had major complaints. I could not be happier with my experience at Go Light! The communication is impeccable. All my questions were addressed promptly, even the most uncomfortable concerns received a truthful response. I felt like they were almost reading my mind at some point. On each step, I received instructions, messages, answers. I can’t even begin to explain what an amazing experience I had with Go Light. Search team of doctors and nurses, hospital staff, Hotel staff. The whole team everyone was amazing. They have a system that works. At no point did I ever feel like I wasn’t informed or I didn’t know what to do next if there was somebody walking me through every step of the way. Dr. Z and Go Light Bariatrics is the way to go. The experience from the time I arrived in Tijuana to the time I left was nothing but incredible.
The care received from Dr. Z and his staff was top notch! They did their due diligence in making sure I would be safe to have the procedure. The post op was great. They monitored my health and well being the entire time. The hospital facility was clean and the Equipment was top of the line.
Going to Mexico for surgery first concerned me but now I would highly recommend it to anyone!

The most amazing, easy, all inclusive, best priced experience for getting bariatric surgery in Mexico!
I just had my surgery with Dr. Zavalza and the Go Light Bariatric team 2 weeks ago. I had been nervous to travel to Mexico but it was so easy.
My insurance in the USA excludes bariatric surgery and it was $24k. I had heard of people going to MX and I joined Dr Z FB group and saw it was $4,300 and included everything but plane ride. No catch.
I decided on surgery just a month before I had it. I submitted a request for consult on the website and was emailed paperwork and times and picked one

Top tier service from start to ending. Very safe and secure. Clean accommodations from the hotel to the private hospital room. All staff spoke english and was very friendly and professional. All details are taken care of food, medicine, transportation, and security. I am so glad I went with go light ❤️❤️❤️.

I had the best experience I could have hoped for with Dr. Zavalaza and the Go Light Bariatric Team. From the first inquiry up until now (post-op) I only have positive things to say about them. The communication with Irene the coordinator was extraordinary and the attention I received in the hospital was excellent, I felt I was in a 5 star hospital with around the clock care. Im now 3 days post post and feeling good. Best decision I’ve ever made.

Everyone was so nice and went out of their way to help. They took my Daughter to eat while I was in surgery and whenever she was hungry. The tour was fun learning the history of Tijuana. The drivers also were very nice. Dr. Zavalza does excellent work. The staff at GoLight checked up on me to make sure all was well. The staff at the Marriott surpassed any hotel I've stayed at in the states.
