Lisa K. McDonald RN, B.S, WCC has been a RN for 23 years, her career experience has been medical surgical, OR and 12 years as a certified wound care specialist, analyzing the largest organ of the body: the SKIN. Her expertise as a WCC nurse lead her to the medical device industry, where she provided clinical and commercial support in multiple hospital call points including Critical Care, Anesthesia and ED.
Spa5 offers a variety of dermal fillers for clients interested in rejuvenating their skin without undergoing aggressive surgical procedures. Dermal fillers restore lost volume, and immediately improve the appearance of fine lines, facial folds, and wrinkles. Depending on the type of filler used, the results can last from a few months to a few years.
Botox/Dysport- Targets the underlying cause of frown lines and crow's feet the repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting. Our clinicians at Spa 5 in Bristol, RI are all medical professionals specially trained in Botox administration.
Botox/Dysport is an injectable form of botulinum toxin/abobotulinumtoxinA, which temporarily blocks chemical signals to the facial muscles, reducing muscle activity, and allowing the facial muscles to relax.This creates a visible smoothing of crow's feet and frown lines between your brows. For crow's feet your clinician will inject 3 area's of the muscle that frames the side of each of your eye's.

I've gone there a couple of times to get injected with dysport and xeomin. I have been underinjected every single time. It's really frustrating. Last time I went, it might as well have been a saline injection, so I decided to now leave a review.
When I called to complain they told me that I need to "up the dose", but I have been getting botox for about five years now. I've never used any more than 25 units for my frown lines and that's always effective. There is no excuse for this and I'm tired of trying to be upsold.

I took advantage of a Living Social promotion and Wow ! I am so impressed with this new spa. Lisa is amazing ! See is very professional and knowledgeable. She is a medical nurse and has the education needed. I had an injection procedure done and asked many questions before. Lisa explained everything and made me feel very comfortable. The big plus is she knows where to apply the injection so no bruising - I'm so happy! I have found my new go to place for all my non-surgical treatments and aesthetics services. I plan on going back soon. I would highly recommend !
