We all experience tough times at one point or another in our lives, and sometimes it may be difficult to reach out to our loved ones or to a professional for help. You may be thinking that things will get better on their own, and maybe they will.

However, if you see that your problems are negatively effecting any of the major areas in your life, such as work, school, relationships, or the problem is getting worse, then that's a good sign that it is time to get some professional help.Seeking help is a STRENGTH, not a weakness. Just thinking about going to talk to a stranger about your problems may produce feelings of nervousness, fear, apprehension or embarrassment.
Services
I am a native Texan with nearly 12 years of clinical counseling experience. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Education with a minor in Psychology from Texas Southern University. I taught school for ten years and absolutely loved it. However, I wanted to help children and families on a different level.
My mission statement simply says: A calm and undisturbed heart and mind are the life and health of the body. There is a direct correlation between one's physical health and one's mental health. When your mind and heart are cluttered with worries, anxieties and depression, it effects your physical health and is manifested in the way of high blood pressure, heart disease, weight gain, and many other physical ailments.
We offer counseling and psychotherapy services for children, adolescents, adults, as well as marriage and family counseling. For children under the age of twelve, the choice of therapy is play therapy. I see children for play therapy as young as two years old. I have a fully-equipped play therapy room.
We also accept all other major PPO insurance plans. With all insurance plans, you are responsible for payment if your insurance company denies payment for services rendered. Our fee is 120.00 per session (without insurance) for individual, marriage or family counseling. Counseling/Psychotherapy sessions are 45-50 minutes.

My experience with. Therapeutic behavior health. Was refreshing when you walk in the office is very soothing and clean. The psychotherapist Dr. Kay was very helpful and professional. She helped me with some of the issues I’m having and I’m looking forward to my future sessions with her. I’ve been to a couple of therapists and she’s by far the one I feel can help me get pass my issues. I recommend if anyone looking for a therapist this is the place to come to everyone working here is so friendly and helpful.
Thank you
