The doctor is fine but the staff is worst. One of the receptionist at the job is quite incompetent and appointment schedule is always messed up. You either will get phone call for someone else's appointment or you will have wait at the lobby for hours with an appointment as your document is not placed in correct file/appointment schedule is messed up.

After trying out a few different optometrists in the Bay Area (Looksie Optometry and Larkspur Landing Optometry), I finally found Dr. Scattini at Through The Hayes in SF. Dr. Scattini is knowledgeable, fun, and patient. She recently relocated from SF to Redwood City, but I don't mind making the trek to the Peninsula because she always makes sure I'm fitted with the correct prescription no matter what I'm doing. I was getting headaches because my previous contact prescription was too strong for working on the computer all day, but I needed a bit stronger of a prescription when cycling and running

If I was able to put No Stars I would. The doctor is outstanding but the office staff is the worst I have ever ever had to deal with.
The first time I went I had a new person conducting my eye tests, she kept making errors. I then picked out and ordered my glasses, waited weeks for my glasses and had to return them a couple days later.
The second time I went was for a follow up with the doctor and to pick up my new glasses, the exam with my doctor went well, however my file, YES my file with sensitive information was lost. I then proceeded to ask for my new glasses but to my shock when I got

I got an eye exam with Dr Rose and he’s great. A few of the front desk staff are also really nice. However, I had to come back 4 times for one eye exam. The front desk staff seem to have no idea what’s going on and gave me the wrong number of contacts TWICE. Then, after my fitting they didn’t even have the contacts I needed so I’ll have to go back again later this week. I really liked Dr Rose but they really need to well on their front desk operations!!
