Furniture Footies were developed by elementary school teacher Margaret Johnson to deal with the frequent screeching sounds of desks and chairs sliding around the classroom, as well as custodial staff's concerns over floor scratching. Unhappy with the products on the market, Margaret decided to create her own products.

In March of 2021 I tried to order from this firm. Its website would not take my card. I called. I spoke to them. I ordered. When the product arrived, it was not what I had ordered. I called. They offered that they must have gotten "confused" and asked me to send it back for a refund. I had to pay the shipping. I shipped it back at my expense. I never received a refund or a response to my calls. I would avoid these people.

I contacted the owner regarding footies for stools in an art room of a private school. The stools had an unusual design and the owner was great in helping me figure out just the correct size. She recommended I order a sample to avoid having to make a return and pay restocking fees which I very much appreciated. The footies came and fit perfectly! I give this company the highest rating.
