When Paul Mitchell purchased a quaint Deli housed in an old post office building in 1993, he had no idea that 25 years later Post Catering, today known as P.O. Catering, would become Pittsburgh's premier caterer. Paul's passion for great food, hard work, and uncompromising commitment to turning customers into friends, quickly grew P.O.
What is "No Touch"? No Touch is a process by which your meal is carefully prepared and delivered to your group in single serving containers, thus limiting exposure to traditional methods such as large serving trays and shared serving utensils. What happens after we order? Our P.O.Catering kitchen prepares each group as a custom order, following CDC guidelines.

We took traditional southern BBQ-and brought it home to Pittsburgh! Our signature Pittsburgh BBQ (or PBQ) style takes a lot of patience, but we think the mellow smoky flavors are worth it. We use a secret "Pittsburgh Style" marinade combined with a slow cooking process for moist ribs that fall off the bone and tender brisket you can cut with a fork.

All Deli Menu Items include Boars Head Quality Meats & Cheeses, Fresh Breadworks Breads & Rolls, Plastic Table Cloth, Plates, Plasticware, Napkins & Serving Utensils. Marinated Beef Brisket with Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Peppers, Red Onions & Sour Cream wrapped in an Herb Tortilla.

They catered a wedding for us June 19, 2021. Thefood was outstanding! The pork BBQ, chicken supreme and all the sides were so tasty. Stephanie, her wait staff and bartenders did an amazing job setting up, serving and taking down.
The owners, Holly and Paul, were a delight to work with. If you're considering a BBQ for any reason, go to them. Look on their website and go try their food on the weekends. You won't be disappointed.

While the food is good and the WORKING staff is excellent. The owners just are sloppy and unorganized. The owners are always unprepared, running late, forgetting things. Their staff does all the work and they run the staff like they're migrants. The owners were simply there to mingle and rub elbows with the big wigs and that is it. I heard half of the stuff showed up at our other location because they did not specify to them which location our event would be at. Food was great, but this business is very unorganized.

They took the time to ensure we ordered the correct amount of food for our daughter's graduation party - because last year we ordered on our own and ended up with too many left overs. The food arrived and was set up ahead of time and all of our visitors regularly complimented on the food compared to other graduation parties they were at. We'll definitely be using Post Office Catering again!
