Anchor of Hope really helped me during my time at Hope college. I have been to a handful of different counselors and I hadn't really felt a good connection with any of them, until Matt Lance. He's the man! I started going as a nineteen year old and Matt helped me immensely for three years. He consistently helped me lay out goals, and even gave me some great books that helped me develop specific skills. He is the perfect mixture of honest, empathetic, and professional. Matt has truly been an integral part of developing me into the person I am today, and I couldn't be more thankful.

Matt is great! We have been to multiple different counselors over the years and Matt has hands down been our favorite. My family and I have met with him for many years through many different situations. (With our kids as individuals and now I meet with him on my own). Matt listens well and sympathizes yet is also realistic and honest with you. He is very professional while being also open, caring and straightforward. He has a unique ability to meet people where they are in regards to life, family or faith. You can come as you are. I couldn't recommend him more.

I first went to Anchor of Hope Counseling and met Matt Lantz in conjunction with my son, but then continued meeting with him individually after that for about a year. Matt is a person of high integrity and moral character. He did a great job asking me questions that helped me process through my thoughts and feelings. He was a steady rock that I could share personal information with and would never receive judgement but only great care and professionalism. I most appreciated being able to talk freely about God and my relationship with Him and have someone who shares many of my core beliefs regarding
