At Kim's Karate, the mission of each studio is to motivate students to build a solid foundation for overcoming obstacles in life. Martial arts training provides student with the skills to develop physically and mentally, allowing them to achieve both long and short term goals.
We provide a fun and educational atmosphere for students to learn the "joy of discipline", while creating a positive environment where we can attend to the individual needs of each student.For our younger students, this program focuses on motor skills, focus, and balance. The instructor/student ratio is kept small to help these young ones develop into strong individuals.

Founded in 1986 by Grandmaster Kim, the Pan-Am Tang Soo Do Federation seeks to provide martial arts schools training, guidance, and certification in the teaching of Tang Soo Do. Receiving direct guidance from Grandmaster Kim, both school owners and students will be supported in their continued practice and training of this traditional martial art.

Excellent karate school for all ages. A place where you can learn the true meaning of martial arts from certified instructors. Prior to joining Kim’s I looked at several schools and once I visited Kim’s Karate I knew this is where I wanted to be. Great school, great classmates and great instructors.

Our family has been part of Kim’s karate for over 7 years and my children are who they are thanks to the masters at Kim’s. Before karate, my older daughter was so timid that she wouldn’t even order meals for herself at restaurants. About 3 weeks after she started karate at Kim’s, I noticed that she started ordering for herself at restaurants and speaking up when needed. She is now a confident young lady who isn’t afraid to stand up for herself and others.

I began at Kim’s ten years ago with my two elementary-aged children. It was terrific to have an activity that we could do together. After a decade, I still am taking classes and learning new things all of the time. The instructors are first rate, doing a tremendous job with students ranging from young children to adults. Instruction is in a traditional Korean martial art that can be practiced by highly active kids through seasoned adults. I highly recommend visiting to see a class and talk with the instructors.

Finest karate school around! Top notch instruction in a friendly environment. Great place for young children and one of the few activities that a parent and child can participate together. Try that at gymnastics, soccer, football, etc. Probably get yourself arrested if you tried! I can't overstate the positives that a young person receives by joining. If someone mentions the cost as "high", then they place little value on quality. Kim's Karate in York, PA (and all the schools under the Pan Am Federation) is the highest caliber school of its kind anywhere for any price.
