The Fruit Bowl
In operation since 1947, The Fruit Bowl continues to provide the freshest and the best of local produce, baked goods, nuts, jams, local honey and olive oils, and Lodi wines. The Lucchetti family encourages you to stop in and enjoy the bounty of San Joaquin County. We specialize in tree-ripened fruit and fresh vegetables picked daily during the summer season.

Just 3-1/2 miles east of Highway 99 on Waterloo Road (Highway 88), The Fruit Bowl is a great place to stop for lunch and enjoy our lawn and shade trees or pick up the perfect imported Italian ingredients to stock your pantry shelves. In addition to providing the customer with the freshest and finest quality products from our farm and local growers, The Fruit Bowl also offers a wide variety of specialty items in our Farm Market.
Services
The harvest has been virtually completed and preparations for winter and next year are now underway. All of our fruit trees have been "topped" and some hedged, as the initial pruning phase begins. This lowers the tree size to a reasonable height for easier harvesting, gives the tree more strength, and with more sun exposure, allows for better sized fruit.

Much more than a produce stand! Gourmet local products - we got locally grown rice, it was so fresh and delicious!
Local award winning olive oils must try. Perfect hostess gift.
Their pies are made in house and excellent! I met people that travel 2 hours round trip for pies.
Fresh and frozen to take home for later.
We bought a seeded sourdough to a friend - they said it was best they ever had. Rolls also delicious
Cute cafe with pastries , coffee, gelato, savory items, possibly some sandwiches
Nice picnic table outside.

My only regret is that I was traveling and couldn't bring it all home with me. The smell of baked goods was heavenly

Reminded me of the fruit stalls in Europe, where each piece of fruit was perfect. A cute cafe attached with amazing quiche and great pastries. Will definitely revisit.

This is an adorable produce market. It is family run. The fruit I bought there was absolutely delicious! I bought yellow and white peaches. Donut peaches, plums and a most delicious watermelon. I also bought a wonderful apple wine and some peanut butter cookies!!! They also sell fruit pies! Writing this review has made me decide to go back today!!! Yummy!!

Unfortunately, the fruit and service have become less than average. The fruit used to be ready to eat at that moment. Now it might as well be put in the chill room and sent to market because it will be a few days before it's ripe. The service really passed me off. My friend had been standing in line for several minutes waiting on the clerk to complete her shake(the clerk's shake,yeah).. Two other employees came out of the baking area to help shake girl because there was now a line. Instead of asking who was next, they just started at the back of the line. I was walking our dog, I only found this

Our favorite place to stop to/from Tahoe. We enjoy all their produce, including the sales for delicious but cosmetically damaged veggies and fruit. The corn, peaches, and cherries are among our favorites. We've also enjoyed their grocery items, like mustards, cheese, salsa, and even the tortilla chips they stock.

There are just so many things to love about The Fruit Bowl. I love that they started selling fruit from their property in the 40's, that they are in their 3rd generation of being family owned, and that it is a quick trip to the outskirts of town that makes you feel as if you are hours away.

We went on a Sunday afternoon, enjoyed sandwiches at picnic tables under the shade (there are some in the sunshine, if you prefer that), and visited their bakery for some yummy treats to take home.

Their store is full of fresh produce as well as locally and semi-locally made products to purchase.

My husband and I make it there every season. Sometimes we find ourselves going back a few times during the same season. Freshest fruit ever. Their supersized apples and peaches are amazing.Crisp apples and sugar sweet peaches. A variety of homemade canned goods. But most amazing is their pies! Whether it be fresh baked or frozen they are the best of the best.

Can't understand the hype. The produce is super overpriced and not very good. Doesn't even seem local. There are so many great produce stands in the valley that are much better and more reasonably priced.

Plus, let's not overlook the open hostility towards customers of color and the gross Trump propaganda.

Excellent, fresh produce. They're well known for peaches. We bought a couple of their peach pies (baked right there), and wow! Excellent! Also, nice area to eat a lunch or whatever goodies purchased.

Everyone must get over to "The Fruit Bowl" for their decadent pies, desserts, quiche, sandwiches, local honey, jams, olive oils, etc. and locally-grown produce. Ralph and Dannene are as down-home and honest as they get. If you don't like their political view, who cares? They still like you!

Nice place ...Have been stopping there for years. Yes, they are very pro-Trump, but who cares. I stopped for the produce and the bakery. What I don't appreciate lately are the lack of masks from the staff and patrons. I feel that I am putting my life at risk stopping there....So not going back

If I could give negative stars I would because the OWNERS of The Fruit Bowl are very rude to their customers of color. Multiple occasions I have gone to the fruit bowl the owners have been very rude to me. Every time I approach the employees they are always whispering about me! I do not deserve this type of customer service from the owners nor employees. All I have done is support your business, but I can not get decent customer service in return that is beyond ridiculous!! Reevaluate your business model and start treating your customers and respect!!!!! FREAKING RUDE OWNERS!!!!!

I used to love going to the fruit bowl yearly with my family. We would pick up cherries throughout cherry season and pick up jams and other items, but the past two cherry seasons have been a little disappointing. We used to get nothing but quality cherries so we never had to pick through the baskets to see if they were molded but the past two times we have picked up cherries we have found split open cherries with mold inside. We bought a large basket for $8.99 and 12 of them were molded. We will probably continue to go there for jams but I think my love for their cherries is gone.

The 200th...

Located on East Waterloo Road before it turns into Hwy 88...this really is an awesome spot to grab some fresh and local produce and some delicious baked goods! We ventured in on Mother's Day to grab a bite for breakfast and left with the Southwestern quiche, a slice of apple strudel, some fresh cherries and blueberries and dried pineapple. If you're a quiche lover, this may be the best you'll ever have and they give you a really good sized portion. Or, you can also buy them whole. The apple strudel was to die for with a flaky crust, thinly sliced apples and an almond

Cute little farm market with a variety of items: fresh baked goods, flavored olive oils, local jams, soup mixes, local honey, and some fresh fruits and veggies.

There isn't a big selection on fruits/veggies and the place is rather small. It's a little pricey in my opinion, but quaint.

My husband and I stopped by on our road trip down to San Diego! We stopped for gelato and were helped by a lovely young lady who was very patient and kind while we made our gelato selection! The employees were all kind and welcoming and made for a very homey pit stop. Thank you to the Fruit Bowl! We will be coming back soon

The Fruit Bowl is fantastic. I love that in the Stockton area there are so many fruit stands and the Fruit Bowl is a 70 year old staple in the community! I have been here many times and love to take advantage of the fresh produce. They pick everything by hand so you know it's fresh and as close to perfect ripeness as you can get it. Everything is of course seasonal so depending on their crop and the different items that are planted you'll have some new choices each time you head in, even week to week.

One thing I love is that they have a little bakery in the back with awesome fresh

Farm fresh produce, fresh baked goods
This is a charming place that has been here since 1947. Summertime is their specialty, with lots of varieties of peaches and cherries and other local stone fruit. Homemade, delicious baked goods.
