Sweet Tea Cakes

Haven't actually had a cake from here because they are never available to take orders, apparently always busy even when contacting them a month in advance from the event. Tried two years in a row to get a custom cake from here for my daughter's birthday way in advance and they can never do it. Disappointed and will stop trying to do business with this bakery.

Sweet Tea Cakes did such a fantastic job on our cake and smash cake for my daughters first birthday. They were great to communicate with, the cake tasted great, and was an absolute showstopper!

Better than we could have imagined! Working with Julie and Kristin was a dream! We placed our order, I gave them basic colors for our wedding theme and they did the rest from there. Everything turned out beautifully, the desserts were a huge hit, and it was all delicious. Thank you, ladies! ❤️

Julie and Kristin did an outstanding job with my 5yo’s cake. We were all so impressed with the way it turned out…5yo son was so excited. Easy to order, super responsive and easy pick up. If they’re available I’d order from them for my other kiddos bday.

We ordered cake pops for our gender reveal. There was a miscommunication when I picked them up but Julie fixed the issue and I am very thankful for that! The cake pops tasted amazing! Delicious!

I had a wonderful experience working with Sweet Tea Cakes! I live in San Francisco, but I had to find a bakery near Verona for my sister-in-law's baby shower. Their communication was excellent. I was so happy with the final cake!

Despite COVID putting a damper on our wedding day, Sweet Tea Cakes brought the celebration back to life. Julie made us this amazing two-tier cake (4"/6") that fit the Chinese wedding we were having. We ordered 2 dozen cupcakes and cookie bites that were super tasty too. Highly recommend the Salted Caramel flavor! Everything was also reasonably priced! We can't wait to order our next cake from them.

I just wanted to thank you again for creating such a wonderful cake for my daughter's 1st birthday. It far exceeded my expectations and everyone was impressed.
The cake included all of the elements that I was hoping for and was masterfully executed from the decorations to the taste of the cake. I had the pleasure of enjoying the Pink Champagne Cupcake. It was delicious and the frosting was generous but not too much. If you need cupcakes for a crowd or just one to say Happy Birthday then this is your go to place!

Had an Irish Creme cupcake, absolutely delicious. The icing was soft and fluffy and carried just the right amount of the creme flavor so as not to overpower the chocolate flavor of the cake. Looking forward to the next time I have a need for a cake, I know where I'm going!!!!

Cute little bakery. I was surprised to find out it was a local mother-daughter team. Perhaps due to its proximity to the mall, I just assumed it would be another chain. But nope, mom was working the counter and shared how her daughter is a pastry chef and this store is her dream. Very cool. The space is small and bright. There is one small table with two chairs which makes this definitely a grab and go type place.
