When you are ready to hire your first virtual assistant from the Philippines, the process could not be simpler. I've been very happy working with them so far. We gave them a description, they handled every aspect of recruiting and screening. They literally nailed it on the first attempt. I've hired overseas staff before, directly and my experience was a mixed bag. I think I even ended up paying more per hour than I do through Smart VA. Either way, happy I found them and will be utilizing them again in the future.

I had five staff in my office in Anaheim California and was constantly having to micromanage them and push them to keep on top of day to day customer service issues. Between the staff and the office, itself my costs were in excess of $20k a month.
Based on the recommendation of a friend dropped the physical office and switch over to virtual assistants exclusively using Smart VA Staffing to do so.
My costs are now less than $3k a month and they do a better job. I was able to get more work done and most importantly, get it done more reliably with just three virtual assistants in the Philippines

I now have three VAs from the Smart VA agency. I have to say I am amazed how well they have worked out. One manages my ecommerce website, she does all the product updates and pricing adjustments. Another handles customer service and does a great job answering the phone keeping our customers happy. The newest works for our accounts department doing repetitive QuickBooks related work. All three working full time, 8 hours a day 5 days a week cost me less than the one part time person I used to have. Hiring VAs like this has been a game changer for my business. Thank you Cindy and team for doing such

I was skeptical working with someone overseas who has a completely different culture, but my preconceptions have been proven wrong!
I've worked with extremely talented article writers, video editors, developers, and designers--their quality of work and communication skills are better than most of the people I talk to for other businesses to be honest.
I'm in the process of redesigning my website and it feels like a dream come true with the results I am getting.
The only thing I would mention is that if you are writing about something that is a cultural nuance and complex (such as a trend that

I highly recommend the Virtual Assistants (VA) program. I have been an office manager for the past four years at a small-size law firm in Orange County that utilizes the VA program. We are a "paperless" office and because most of the work we do can be completed without physical meetings with our clients, we are a perfect fit for VAs. I feel the VAs integrated so well and so quickly within my office system because most of our internal databases and operating systems are online or in "the cloud". All my office-based employees/staff were already used to tracking their work and communicating with other

Over the years I have worked with several staffing agencies, for me they were all pretty much the same. Expensive and nowhere near what I really needed.
Then about a year ago I found Smart VA Staffing. Talk about a different experience. They found me an awesome full office administrator and an inside sales person in less than two weeks. Between them they cost me less than half the cost of my last temp worker. And yet there are both hard working and dedicated.
The office admin takes care of all my invoicing, quotes and travel. My sales rep answers the phone and books appointments for me. It was

Many people I talk to assume India, language barriers, and errors with offshore staffing. They don’t get that at all – using my personal example – our Philippine hire has better speaking and writing skills than a local hire that was in our office for 2.5 years and who was paid $16.00 an hour. Frankly, at 4.5 months, our offshore employee has more skills in our office than the other person did after 2.5 years, more reliable work quality, and just plain better staff member. He's truly a part of the team and a valuable asset.
