Dr. Karen Henard Carter is a 1994 graduate of Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Originally from Church Hill, Tennessee, she is a second generation chiropractor and has been adjusted by her father, Dr. John Henard, since birth. Her practice, Henard Family Chiropractic, consists of patients of all ages and conditions.
It is closer to our suite for you to park near or at the rear of the building, unless you need a ramp then you should park in the front. If needed, there is an elevator located at the rear of the building. Should you enter through the rear, the elevator is located to your RIGHT. Take it to the 2nd floor.
Dr. Karen Henard Carter is a member of Chiropractic Restoring Energy Worldwide, or C.R.E.W., a group of doctors from around the world who travel at their own expense to countries in need of chiropractic care and provide chiropractic services free of charge. The mission was the 10th by C.R.E.W. During the week-long mission, chiropractors provided adjustments in areas in and around Panama City, a city of over a million people.
In simplest terms, a subluxation a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves.
This is a representation of one type of subluxation. A subluxation, as defined by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges is: "A subluxation is a complex of functional and/or structural and/or pathological articular changes that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and general health."

I’ve been seeing Dr. Karen my whole pregnancy to help with back pain and stiffness. She does a great job. I leave every appointment feeling better, and I’m able to take care of my other children and household chores since I’m not in pain. I haven’t even had any sciatica this time like I did with my previous pregnancies.

I was diagnosed with a chronic pain condition in which my dr wanted to put me on narcotics to control the pain. I decided to give Dr. Karen a try. This is one of the best decision I have ever made. I was not a fan of Chiropractors, she has changed my view. I am happy to report that I am pain free -- without the use of any medications. She is a great soul and really knows what she is doing. Give her a try. You will not be sorry.
