Katie Delozier and Stephanie Stute wanted to create a place where young people in the community could become involved in the arts and grow to appreciate all aspects of it. The Spotlight provides youth in the community a positive environment where they can learn many types of dance and develop both technically and emotionally as dancers.
The Spotlight opened in 2008, with two dance studios, and offers instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, pointe, creative movement and gymnastics. The Spotlight has continued to grow over the years, expanding its class offerings and now offers both dance and gymnastics instruction.

Services
Age may be a determining factor in class placement, but skill level and student readiness are also considered. Teachers will recommend which classes a student is eligible to take. Please trust that the Spotlight teachers have your child's best interest in mind. To register for this class, children should be fairly steady when walking.
A combination of morning and evening classes will be offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We are also offering a variety of summer dance workshops and camps. Scroll down to see camp, clinic and workshops descriptions. Current students can register through the parent portal. This will be four days of gymnastics fun, including conditioning, tumbling, bars, beam and mini-trampoline.
If you are having trouble viewing the calendar above, please view our Events Calendar here. This class is a combination of Vinyasa Flow and Hatha Yoga. We will follow a similar structure to a Vinyasa class while finding space between poses to mindfully connect with the breath. You can expect all the challenges and benefits of Vinyasa Practice.

Not a good place for young children. Please consider the following experience.
When signing my 3 year old up for beginner gymnastics what they neglect to convey is their uncomfortable policy of requiring parents to leave their young children in a room with no windows, cameras, or another way for parents to keep an eye on them. Not only that but they also expect any parents to wait in their car...When I asked if there was a way to see my child during her class the staff responded with contempt and was extremely unprofessional. What they said was that it is their policy, even before COVID-19. When
