I confirmed a 2pm home visit for a moving estimate and took an afternoon off work at the hospital to be present. The driver texted at 1pm to ask if I still wanted the visit today to which I replied immediately only to be told he had decided to move on to RI appointments for the day and was unavailable. I certainly will not entrust moving my belongings with such an unprofessional company.

Called Rainbow Movers on a short notice when I found out my previous mover was no longer available. I spoke with Jim and he gave me a few options regarding my move. We arranged the date, price, and he said Jon and Alex would be the movers coming. They touched base with me earlier in the day to give me the approximate time of arrival and called when they were a few minutes out. Right on time and these two guys are amazing. In 90° + heat and humidity they never stopped working. They were careful and professional. I really can't say enough about how great my experience was. Not a nickel more

Working with Rainbow Movers was fantastic! We were already committed to another moving company when a friend referred me to Rainbow. I had a virtual consultation and was so impressed by how thorough they were… and the added customer service support that we switched. The crew that moved us was so awesome! They worked quickly and efficiently through a heat wave. I used Rainbow movers to pack some of my awkward items (TV, expensive vases and artwork), the rest I packed myself. Alex led the team that came to my house to pack up the truck. He and his 2 workers (I believe Matt and Connor) were fantastic. They had to move a baby grand piano. They took such care of my property I was so pleased. Rainbow stored my property for 3 months . I had requested Alex make the trip to NC to bring my property and put my piano back together. Erin was great and sent him down with my stuff. I did not sustain any damage on any property and the team was fantastic. Thank you so

Erin is amazing! We hired Rainbow Movers to help move my parents from their family home of 47 years to a condo. Needless to say, this was a huge undertaking and Erin handled it with professionalism and ease. Her background in geriatric psychology helped with the emotional part of the move as well. She cleaned, organized, managed details and even set up my parents' bedroom from bedding to lamps to pictures when we got to the condo. Couldn't have done this without her!

We got three quotes for our instate move and storage. Carl was super friendly and helpful during the walk-thru. The quote was the best of all three companies.
Today was our moving day and John, Josh and Angel were there exactly when we were told they’d show up. They were very professional, extremely courteous and careful with our items!
So far so good! Our items are in storage for 6-7 weeks so I’ll be back to leave a review on the other end of our move!

I've worked with Rainbow Movers consistently about every week or every other for the last 3 years. They are amazing (I work directly with Kim) and in all of that time, I have not had one issue that I can even think of which is unreal for any business and especially in transportation. Their pricing is competitive, service is fantastic and they have a great team all the way around and that starts with the ownership.

ABSOLUTE CROOKS!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Quoted my parents $15,000 to move from Plymouth, MA to Texas and the last piece of paperwork they signed stated $14,700. Truck arrives in Texas and they said it was more than they expected and said it's now $21,000. Said if they didn't pay it they would put their stuff in storage. While my parents literally have the truck waiting outside their new home... They tried to call and get in contact with the company but surprise, surprise NO ONE ANSWERED. Instead they told the driver to tell my parents to pay or they were to leave and drop the stuff

I have used Rainbow three times for my mother in the past 2 years- once when she moved out of her house, once moving within her senior care facility and just today when she moved to another senior care facility. Each time they have been absolutely great- professional, on time, polite with me and my mother, careful with her furnishings. I can't say enough good about them. I know movers are hit or miss- I found them when I was stood up by another company, but they have been just great to deal with. I used Rainbow movers to actually clean out my house to get it ready for sale. I believe they call this "downsize moving". I actually live in Beverly Hills, California but I needed to sell my family home in Massachusetts. I'm all by myself and I only had seven days to get everything out of a house that had 45 years worth of memories crammed into it. After 2 days, the house was completely empty and everything I wanted was put into storage. I didn't even have to pack a box! I just had to put the stuff I wanted aside, and everything else in the house was either donated or discarded

This is the worst moving company that I have ever dealt with. They are unprepared, unprofessional
and completely inept! I had a refrigerator that had to be replaced with a new one. Rainbow movers did not come with any tools. When they disconnected the water line, it was not shut off prior to the disconnect. There was water all over my kitchen!! When they pushed in my new refrigerator, they scraped my laminate floor and my wall. There is also a gauge taken out of the wall! They had no tools to put the new refrigerator together. The head man, named "G" kept saying that he couldn't

Used this company twice in the last few years for complicated moves with at least 3 locations each time. This time from Swampscott to Sharon to Brookline and back to Sharon. Last time in various locations from Canton, to Stoughton and Sharon. Everything about both moves was professional and considerate of our belongings and our needs. They were a little late arriving this time but the customer service throughout the day made up for it for sure. Both times we needed the crew to travel to multiple locations i.e. storage or our daughter's new apartment. There wasn't one complaint moving

We used Rainbow Movers to move my family member to an assisted living and Erin was so accommodating and easy to work with in terms of setting up everything. The three guys who did the actual move were polite, knowledgable and did an amazing job of packing up everything from one place to the other. I would highly recommend Rainbow Movers!

Horrible horrible experience, please use anyone other than Rainbow. We used them for a relocation from Massachusetts to Florida, and unfortunately had to use them to store our possessions for a period of 2 months. When our items were scheduled to be delivered, they had to split our load. I think that is where the problems started. As a result, we are still missing several furniture pieces, had damaged items, and are missing boxes that were just numbered with no details as to what the contents were. Will never recommend them to anyone. Beware.
