A bed and breakfast is a legal business, with a public address, like a small hotel, with all the aspects legally required of a business. These include things like: city/state license, fire marshal inspections, working smoke detectors and fire extinguishers, commercial insurance, commercial website address, complimentary breakfast and so on.

We had a wonderful stay at The Little English Guesthouse, and I hope we have the opportunity to return. The room and bathroom were just as advertised, comfortable and spacious. We also enjoyed the breakfasts and snacks/beverages available. The guesthouse is in a fantastic location close to lots of shops and restaurants, as well as the renowned Mackey Gardens. We appreciate Tracey’s hospitality and hope to stay again in the future!

I was made to feel welcome from the time I rang the doorbell and was greeted by my first name.
I felt very special by the attention to detail, warmth and kindness that Tracey showed me throughout my stay. The kitchen felt like home. I even placed some of my own items in the refrigerator!
The house and gardens were well maintained, cozy and comfortable. The ambiance was very peaceful. There is a lovely view of the gardens from the sitting room, through a whole wall of glass.
The website gives an accurate description of the home. It was the best choice I could have made for my stay. I highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at this little hidden gem on the north side of Tallahassee! The bed was comfortable, the room quiet, and Innkeeper Tracey provided a nice array of amenities (including our first taste of crumpets) and local information. The focus of our trip was to visit Maclay State Gardens, which is nearby. We also discovered some very good restaurants in the area. All in all, a very pleasant few days away.

This was our first stay at the Little English Guesthouse and we truly enjoyed our visit. There are a lot of great restaurants nearby and the location offers quick access to key roads that make it easy to get around Tallahassee. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is quiet. After a long day of work, it felt more like coming home instead of going to a hotel. Just remember to toast the crumpets before eating!

My husband and I enjoyed our two-night stay at the Little English Guesthouse B&B in Tallahassee. Tracey was very welcoming and the atmosphere of the B&B was quite relaxing. Breakfasts were tasty and thoughtfully served. Another guest had honeymooned there seven years ago and wanted to see their entry in the guestbooks kept in each room; Tracey easily produced the book and delighted the clients who were coming back for another stay. Well run business. We'd love to return one day.
