I had used Veterans of and on for years with good results, but in May of 2019, they had no cabs available when I called them about 9PM. Just now (Dec 2021), I see their Facebook page says "Out of Business"

Critical: Professionalism
Extremely inconsiderate and rude drivers. They also neglect to locate fares when they arrive at destination. Which in turn makes customers call back. Definitely extremely unprofessional service

Booked a taxi 24 hours in advance to ensure I would have a ride home for my elderly mother when arriving late at Logan. When we arrived, there was no taxi, and they would not pick up the phone. We had been using Veterans Taxi my whole life, but we will never use them again.

My wife and I have used Veterans to get us to Logan for 12 years, but our last experience was terrible. I had booked a taxi for 6 pm, but when no taxi arrived by 6:05 I called. I was told the driver was on their way. When no taxi arrived by 6:15 I called again and asked where it was and what the ETA was and was told 10 minutes (6:25). What… shocked me the most was the complete lack of communication and the nonchalant nature of this conversation and the “don’t worry, it’s on the way” tone of the dispatcher. They knew our destination was Logan and time sensitive. It

I have used the service for many years, but the last couple times have been distinctively bad experiences. The last time I used them, the driver showed up roughly 30 minutes late, with no stated reason, and I almost missed my flight. The time before that, the driver did not seem steady on the road, and I was considering just getting out and calling another company.
I'm not sure why their quality has deteriorated, but, at this point, I'd recommend using someone else.

Horrible experience. Left handicapped women stranded and didn't care a bit. I wouldn't use them if they were the last cab on earth. Avoid them or you will be sorry!!

Called for a pickup at Logan and car never showed after at least 30 minutes and promises repeated times from dispatch the car was 10 minutes away. Both unreliable and dishonest. Last time using Veteran's Taxi.

Tremendous service!! Visiting Boston from the UK and made the trip to Gillette Stadium. Picked up a Veterans cab at Mansfield station. The lady that took us was very friendly and told us lots about the local… area!! The driver who took us back to Mansfield station picked us up with only 15 mins till our train arrived to take us back to Boston and whilst me and my wife were nervous we'd miss the train and we'd have to wait two hours the driver got us to the station with a couple of minutes to spare whilst holding a conversation about soccer!! Superb service and couldn't recommend highly enough

I've taken Veterans most Mondays for the last 4 months. They have no semblance of customer loyalty. Their drivers regularly can't find my house (which is still the exact same place I ordered a cab from them the week before). On more than one occasion, I've been left on a dark street corner scrambling, stuck going back and forth with dispatch trying to get a car to me. It''s beyond nerve wrecking. Just tonight they cancelled my regular Monday ride due to "severe over booking." I suspect maybe <5 people work before 5am and at least 2 of them have no sense of direction. I'm done using these guys.

Don't use Veterans if you value your time. The drivers are nice, but "scheduled" service is unreliable and the call center can be hostile. Two Veterans reps told me that the company won't "own" scheduled pickups. Why even offer them then?
