Services
The Perigeaux story began with our search for the perfect location to plant our dream vineyard in the summer of 1997. After more than four years of extensive research and travels throughout the mid-Atlantic region, our search led us to the sandy loam soils and warm climate of Calvert County in Southern Maryland.

The Perigeaux Wine Club offers members the opportunity to receive special offers on our wine and tastings and invitations to private events. These wines are our signature and reserve wines and are produced from "vinifera" grapes grown, nurtured and hand-picked from our estate vineyards located in St. Leonard, Calvert County, Maryland.
Our vineyard views and comfortable tasting room offer the perfect place to relax with friends and reconnect with great conversation over a glass of wine. All year long we have excellent live music, wine tastings, holiday celebrations, and more. Gather a group of friends and family and spend an entertaining afternoon with us.

What a really nice setting. I tasted one wine which I had to pour out as it was so bad. I talked with the wine maker and he agreed it was terrible, but it was a big seller. Different tastes for different people. Don't miss this place b/c of some of the bad reviews!

Beautiful setting, friendly customer service, undrinkable wine. We sampled 5 different wines (for free, to their credit). 3 whites, 1 red, 1 rose. The tastes ranged from unpleasant to truly awful. Feeling awkward about sampling so many wines without buying anything, I opted against buying a bottle of anything but chose two glasses of the most tolerable wine for my wife and I. We sat down in their beautiful yard, overlooking the vines, and attempted to drink the wine. We simply couldn’t get more than a couple of sips down. Returning the full glasses back to the bar, we headed out disappointed

Nice location with a great sitting area that offers both quiet and active areas to your liking. If you happen to be out on Saturday they have live music. Two wine tastings are offered at 16 and 19 dollars with eight wines each. If you want something different this is it.

The winery is beautiful, the staff pleasant and very friendly. Tasted all the wine except the Riesling ( they were out) got a glass of Emma
and my wife a Moscato. We found ones we liked.
To be honest I didnt care for half of the wines I tasted but everyone has a different palette. Try them out and see for yourself. 3 🌟

Pretty and serene location to experience their very large selection of wines. Jacob is very nice and allows wine tastings to be done inside or out. No food options available so bring your own snacks. The wines themselves are all very sweet and share a common aroma and taste. Too sweet for our liking but they apparently win a lot of competitions as their winning wines are displayed on the back bar with their respective medals.

This is a fantastic winery. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the grounds are well maintained and beautiful. There is a variety of outside seating arrangements, and the staff is careful about COVID policies. The wine is spectacular. You can taste the regional minerals in the wines and they are crisp and delicious. My husband got two glasses, and he is not known for finishing a whole, much less two, glasses of wine. This winery is worth a visit.

I really wanted to enjoy this winery, the scenery was beautiful. My husband and my sons came out today and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We were happy to see only two other cars in the parking lot when we arrived however, we quickly understood why. The wine was terrible. Service was great. We poured 3 of the 4 glasses out and left. I love wine and VERY rarely waste any however, the wine was UNDRINKABLE. We will not be returning.

Really enjoyed the drive to this sweet place tucked away in St. Leonard, MD
The atmosphere was quaint and relaxing. The young man who did our tasting was very personable. We left with several bottles of wine. However I think I lost an ear ring if you find one.

Very cute vineyard! The service was great. You could get wine by the bottle or by the glass! Due to COVID no tasting was available.
