Our Preschool program follows Connecticut State frameworks for kindergarten readiness with a curriculum focused on S.T.E.M, Handwriting Without Tears as well as Alphatales early readers program. Through our program, students engage in learning with a strong focus in Phonics, Mathematics, Science and Arts.
Most parents today are familiar with "S.T.E.M", a curriculum taught in schools across Connecticut. At Happy Hands PREP we also strive to focus on S.T.E.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) having modified our program to focus on the Arts; Music, Movement, Yoga, Drawing, Painting and Baking.inplace of Engineering for our young learners.

I wholeheartedly recommend this excellent, high quality, pre-school!! Mrs. Keri and Mrs. Lori are passionate about education, care about children, and inspire children to be creative, think critically, and be the best version of themselves. We love all the daily activities these teachers carefully plan. My daughter comes home every single day excited about school, what she has accomplished, and eager to go back.

My precious granddaughter has attended this school since she turned three and has blossomed from a shy child into a gregarious and very confident little four year old. Her teachers Ms. Keri and Ms. Lori are truly wonderful and have taught my granddaughter so much in the past almost year that I know she will be more than ready to attend kindergarten next year...if she was old enough she could attend this year! The children at this school get the best possible schooling a parent would want. I only wish that this school went up to 6th grade.
