I have struggled with anxiety and depression since I was 15 years old. I have seen my fair share of psychiatrists throughout the years. Dr. Nichols is far and away the best one I have seen. She has wonderful energy, she's kind, understanding, and very knowledgeable in her field. I am very thankful for Fayetteville Psychiatry.

I spent my own money to see a psychiatrist here because their rating is so high, but I was completely disappointed, and I say this as a person who has a Masters degree in psychology and counseling.
Dr. Nicholas might be good for an addict to see, but she will not help if you have mental health conditions that require medication. She is extremely conservative with medication, telling me that she might treat my mental health conditions (autism, insomnia) if I got off of my pain medication (for an injury that I sustained in Afghanistan and had back surgery for).
I sought a private provider because

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Suzanne Nicholas for five years. She is an intelligent, compassionate, thorough and diligent psychiatrist with training and experience in general psychiatry, child psychiatry, and addiction psychiatry. I would recommend her to anyone who needs accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, and compassionate psychiatric care.
