Pinnacle Premier Psychiatry
There is a mental health crisis in Arkansas. Nationwide there are on average 11.4 psychiatrists per 100,000 U.S. residents, while the estimate for Arkansas is only 5.2. Furthermore, the distribution of psychiatrists is unequal across the state, with Little Rock having 9.2 while Northwest Arkansas has a paltry 3.2 psychiatrists per 100,000 residents.

As the Chairman of Psychiatry for Northwest Health, it is not uncommon for me to see patients forced to wait 5 months or more to see a psychiatrist. I find this as shocking as I do unacceptable. As such, it is our goal to provide compassionate, individualized, and effective care without the long waits that have plagued our region.
Services
Pinnacle Premier Psychiatry is pleased to announce that we will begin providing conservative and thoughtful psychiatric services for children ages 5 and up. We will immediately begin scheduling patients for psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy services. Please call our main clinic number with any questions and/or appointment scheduling.
At your first appointment, we will ask you to sign a form allowing us to call or text you with appointment reminders. Our providers do treat ADHD and stimulants are often a very important component of treatment. Northwest Arkansas is home to several colleges and often students from out of state do not have an in-state provider.

I was seen 7 times over 7 months by 4 different providers. The head psychiatrist, Dr. Hyatt, found it appropriate to start his report with the fact that I "presented with bright purple hair." How this applies to my medical records, I do not understand. It was not a box due from home, it was professionally done and does not speak to my mental well-being. He further stated that at my first appointment I was "in no way candid," "extremely vague," and provided a "fairly roundabout convoluted and highly atypical description" of the circumstances surrounding my

I loved this place. I probably got some of the best care i have ever been given while here. They actully listen to you as a patient and find what works for you. I felt heard which as someone who had been fighting with other doctors for years was a relief that brought me to tears. I had to stop due to insurance changes but continue to tell everyone about them. If your thinking about it go. You wont regret it.

I cannot say enough about how Tiffany has helped me. She may be young, but she knows her stuff. It means so much to have such a safe and understanding place to open up. Not only do I leave each session feeling lighter and relieved, I leave with a plan and tools to use in my day to day life to improve things. She is a wonderful listener and incredibly intuitive. She has made all the difference in my life and I highly recommend her expertise.

I’ve been going to Pinnacle Premier Psychiatry for about 3 months now. I’ve been in therapy for years, but never could find a place that worked for me. Here, I’ve finally found a therapist that goes above and beyond. It’s been such a relief to find a place that listens and doesn’t provide a one size fits all treatment plan. My life has changed drastically since coming here. I can’t thank Dr. Hyatt and his team enough.

I had high hopes for this clinic. Visually the clinic is beautiful. I am disappointed each visit. The front office staff come off as cold and judgmental. I am overcharged every visit. The company they contract with for billing can give no answers except "call the office." The NP I have seen comes off like he hates his job. The longest appointment I have had with him has been 10 mins. For the last appointment I was charged for therapy on top of medication management. I'm no expert but therapy should take longer than 10 mins. I feel stuck. It took forever to find a physician for medication management

I have been going to this clinic since the beginning of the year and I'm very happy with my therapist and Nurse practioner. I saw Dr. Hyatt initially and then NP Kyle after on a regular basis for medicine management and for the first time in my life I felt like I was being listened to and not just thrown prescriptions (one size fits all). I highly recommend therapy from here as well.

At first I thought this would be a good clinic to help with my panic attacks and anxiety. I made my initial appt with them and it went well and they were very thorough and I was very honest with them about my psychiatric history with mental illness. They prescribed me citalopram and I thought we were on the right track. About 4 days into taking the medication I started having the most severe panic attacks I've ever had...so severe I ended up in a ambulance and went to the er twice! I call the clinic and the provider insisted that I continue taking the medication. I continued and the attacks became

My daughter is on Medicaid and had two appointments at this clinic. She then received a letter that she was discharged from care for failure to follow the treatment. She had been on several medications in the past that worked for her and when she asked to be put back on one in particular (Latuda), the doctor told her he didn’t want to prescribe it due to patent issues? This appears to be more about money and not helping my daughter who is suffering. Why discharge her immediately rather than work towards helping her? The doctor will not call us back to explain or offer options.

There is such a negative stigma towards getting help for mental health; with a family history of multiple diagnosis and rehab sessions, I have always had to see therapist and finding one that is easy to open up to isn't easy. The therapist here was recommended to me when I moved from Florida and had no luck in finding someone that I felt I could open up to and start over since Arkansas is now home. After just the first session, I was ready to follow up continuously. During my first hour session, she was able to pinpoint questions from my conversations that really had me thinking and opening

I did not like the way I was treated by the staff. I felt they were unprofessional and dismissive, which is a big deal for a mental health facility. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

What a great experience! Everyone was professional and so kind. I was very nervous about this appointment but by the time I left, it felt like a normal doctor's appointment and I had no problem scheduling a follow up. There was no wait to get an appointment or follow up which is not the case at almost every psychiatry clinic in NWA. I was called with a reminder for my appointment date and time, I was offered beverages and really neat snacks during my appointment, and all the staff ensured my privacy and showed so much kindness. You all are wonderful! Thank you so much for your services.
