Firefly is open year-round, hosts live music every weekend, and also offers full-service catering. So this was our first time in Lennox and my daughter made a dinner reservation at Firefly. As we walked up, I saw there was a live band and my first thought was "I hope we aren't too close to a loud band."

Services
This has been Firefly's motto for nearly two successful decades and it succinctly captures the warm and inviting atmosphere for which this Lenox mainstay is known. Chef and former owner, Laura Shack, opened Firefly in 2003. A longtime Berkshire resident and New York City native, Laura attended New York University and participated in their Nutrition and Food Studies Program.
Chef Andrew Miller has been cooking professionally for over 30 years. He is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University and Ball State University with degrees in Culinary Arts, Biology/Bio-Chemistry, and Nutrition. He is a recipient of ten gold, silver, and bronze medals from his participation in American Culinary Federation competitions.

Enjoyed this restaurant on New Years Eve. Great atmosphere and vibes. Our waiter was awesome. The food was excellent with great portions. The band Misty Blues was playing in the bar area that had awesome vibes. Band was great. Following dinner we sat in the bar area which was very cozy. Bartenders were great and very quick with service for such a packed night. Definitely plan on returning

We came in on a Friday night on the early side because we couldn't get a reservation at a later time. We wanted to enjoy a leisurely cocktail because we weren't really hungry but knew we would be. Our server Kayla was so great. She told us to take our time because she was busy and we were helping her out. So many times, servers and restaurants make you feel rushed. But the restaurant had a nice vibe. And she was a terrific server throughout our meal. The cocktails and food were really good . Loved the lobster bisque and Chicken Paillard. Bartender who looked like either Tom Cruise or Keanu Reeves from the Matrix (guy was wearing a mask) - anyway, Keanu/Tom - made the absolute best dirty martini - and the food was excellent - having the lobster tacos & filet mignon medallions.
All tables had reservations- so sitting at the bar was all they had.
But excellent service - excellent Bartender- more than reasonable prices.
Highly recommend this place!

Got to say, pretty mediocre overall. Had dinner a little before 9:00 on a somewhat busy Friday night. Lamb meatball appetizer was flavorful but dry. My wife's duck fat-and-thyme fries were cold, soggy, and seemingly bereft of duck fat. My duck leg "confit" was extremely dry, and the "sweet corn jalapeño" slaw seemed to be little more than a few bits of cabbage.
On the positive side, my cocktail (blood orange martini) was decent, and the service was fine. There was a couple near us that was furious about how long their food was taking, but we personally did not have

Firefly has an attractive interior, some outdoor dining and a good vibe. But that's not why most people come to a restaurant, and it was the other things that left us unhappy. We dined indoors, a party of six, and everything seemed in slow motion. From the time we were seated to the moment our entrees arrived was exactly (and regrettably) 90 minutes. We suspect management would concur: that's not acceptable. Some of our orders were pretty tasty: the lobster bisque, lobster salad and the cocktails. Others were less so. The scallops entree consisted of three (???) medium sized scallops

I love this place.. The Sexy decor, live band sometimes, excellent friendly service. The bartenders and manager make sure they make you feel welcome and I can't say enough good things! The food is spectacular! Wings are to die for. Fries are perfect. Tomato Burrata salad a must! Always great music and the best atmosphere in town.

Staffing did not appear to be an issue (as it is right now for many, especially in the Berkshires) but I would guess they didn't expect such a large customer turnout on a Tuesday night, which may have contributed to my and other's experiences.
Restaurant was packed, and we sat at the bar and were greeted right away by the bartender. The beer list and friendliness/professionalism of the bartender made me want to give 2 stars, but I just couldn't.

I've not been here for 15 months (thanks for nothing Covid) and am so glad that I came for dinner tonight! Took a chance on a rather bold addition to the menu- Elk Chops in a classic Cumberland BBQ sauce topped with pickled red onions. Paired with spaetzle and green beans. Perfect with a glass of Malbec. Amazing- I urge everyone to try this dish!

We've eaten here twice since they reopened and have had an excellent meal and service each time! So happy they are open again with a lot of the same staff! The cocktails are excellent and I highly recommend the honey buffalo wings! We also had a key lime pie ice cream sandwich which was to die for! The live music on Friday's is a must as well! Everyone followed covid guidelines and we felt very safe there! Can't wait to go back!!

Great service and vibe but honestly the take out Duck 3 ways just didn't make the grade. Cardboard container where everything mushed together, very few greens although I asked before ordering. My guess is that this is a dish that just needs the plate with presentation. Duck was very good!
I will return soon when I can dine there and appreciate the great ambiance, outstanding front and wait staff, and diverse menu.

I went to firefly for the first time in a while and was very pleased with my experience. Wait staff was attentive and pleasant. I had candied pork belly which was very flavorful and elk chops which had an excellent sauce on them. Beers were incredible, including a very cool blueberry marshmallow beer. I'll definitely be coming back

We went to firefly the first night they reopened, and are happy we chose to come. They had live music that was a perfect jazzy backdrop to a date night.
The standouts (for me) were the naked and infamous cocktail and the hand cut fries.
The staff was very friendly, efficient, and covid cautious. I can't wait to go back in the summer and take advantage of the front porch.

We wandered in here during the apple festival. What a great place. The staff was all so friendly that we stayed to have a refreshing cold beer.
The game was on & people at the bar were commenting on the game. The guy & gal bartenders were so friendly and attentive that I felt as if I had been going there for years
We both ordered lunches which were cooked to perfection .
We've been back here twice and it's always a very pleasant experience.

Stopped by here for a quick beer and a bite at the bar. The bar and the restaurant were cute with great outdoor seating on the front porch. I had tamarind ginger brussel sprouts which were pretty good, though a little sweet. My friend had the veggie burger, which she said was pretty average.
The bartenders were very friendly and accommodating. Great place for a drink at the bar. If I come back to the area, I would definitely consider coming back for dinner.
