Services
Harold Katz opened a retail footwear store with the Knapp shoe franchise when he retired and moved to Tucson from New York. In 1995, Steve took over the family business of safety shoes and boots. Steve's son David joined him in 2000 when the old Knapp store became Workmens Boots & Shoes. When you stop in to our store, you can usually see three generations of Katz family members on the premises.

I did not find the exact shoes I wanted, because they did not have my size (13),but I found a great pair. The salesman was very knowledgeable of the products and he brought out a variety of shoes in my size. I liked many of the shoes but I was able to narrow it down to 1 pair. Timberland Pro Bosshog

Came in cause I had a voucher from the new job and was not impressed. I big on taking care of my feet cause I on them all day as well as regular podiatrist visits. Like they say “protect your money makers.” So going into this spot and being told my feet are not this way, or “well I know people with that condition and it don’t look like that” attitude was not welcome. Person seemed to want to get me out the door as soon as I came in. Was ignored walking in but leaving was greeted and seen out. The only time person worked with me was when there was no one in the shop. I got boots with voucher

The SERVICE was hands down the best ive ever experienced , David was very helpfull , and RESPECTFUL . I arrived ten minutes before the store closes but regardless of his personal obligations he was committed to he was willing to go above and beyond. Helped out with printing my voucher getting the boots i needed for my new job understood that the voucher was time sensitive rang me up and out the door a few mins after closing . AWESOME JOB DAVID WILL DEFINATELY RECOMEND TO ALL AS WELL AS BE A RETURN CUSTOMER.
