I believe Laurie helped me and it was an awesome experience! I work 3-4 12 hr shifts in a warehouse every week and nikes and sketchers weren't working for me. Laurie grabbed me 4 different pairs of shoes to try and was so personable. I haven't gotten such good service at a shoe store since I was a kid. I felt very comfortable here!

This was store was a new experience for me. I tried on a friends pair of HOKA Recovery Sandals
at a recent dinner party and could not wait until I got to the Running Shop
to get my own pair. I have had a knee injury slowly healing over the last 4 weeks. No pain with these sandals! Sharon worked with me and had me fixed up in no time. It occurred to me my feet do not feel this good in my current trainers, so I got a new pair of Brooks-I feel great and no foot pain either! Thanks to all the staff. See you on the trail-Robin B.

Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Had my previous purchase size on file which was incredibly helpful. Shoe manufacturer released a new version that didn't fit my foot as well which is not The Running Shop's fault. I feel badly they wouldn't accept a tip for their time. They offer a valuable service and I hope to shop there in the future.

A friend recommended this store and I stopped in here for the first time this week. Geoff watched me walk, asked what I was looking for and brought out many shoes for me to try. I walked around in all of them and they let me run in whichever ones I wanted to on the sidewalk outside the store.
Geoff was extremely helpful and patient. I can definitely recommend buying running shoes at this store. They also have different clothes and accessories as well.
They didn't have a size I wanted to try for one of the shoes and are ordering it for me to try on.

The Running Shop is a great local place to go when you're in need of a new pair of running shoes or any sportswear. On our last visit, we were helped by Jeff. He was extremely knowledgeable about both the product and the biomechanics involved with shoe selection. He was very helpful, and made the trip productive and enjoyable! They also offer a military discount, which is always welcome :)

While not runners, my partner and I put in significant miles on paved and unpaved trails. When we first moved to Tucson a few years ago, we searched for a shop that would take the time to listen to our needs and find the perfect shoe match. The Running Shop did not disappoint! The staff member asked what we liked/didn't like about our current shoes, watched us walk, and offered several options based on our needs. We left with supportive, comfortable shoes that worked great for us.
Fast forward to 2020. We've put in some extra miles the first part of this year and need some new gear.

5 star service! I've had a very difficult time being fitted for athletic shoes. I'm a supinator and one foot is different enough from the other that it makes buying shoes a trial. I'm sorry I don't remember her name because she was excellent, but the woman who assisted me was very knowledgeable about fit, correct sizing and about the nuances of each brand. Unlike other places I have shopped, she didn't give up and kept presenting me with options until I found the Brooks to be the best option. The Running Shop carries a selection of brands in small sizes. They also have a fair return policy. Recommended

I am currently beginning to finish physical therapy from some old injuries to my knee. I wanted to come speak to a professional and get some recommendations on a good pair of running shoes.
I spoke with Jeff, who was extremely friendly, patient and informative. He helped me to try on something between 4 and 6 pairs of shoes, answered all the questions that I had, let me walk/run around with the shoes to get a feel for them, and did not make me feel pressured to spend a large amount of money while I was shopping - in fact, the pair I ended up with was a sale pair.
I would 100% recommend The Running

Stopped by The Running Shop to buy a new pair of running shoes. Called ahead and they set aside the brand, size I wanted to try on. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. The shoes fit perfect and walked out of the store wearing them within 15 minutes. Priced the same as Amazon and supporting a local business felt good. Also greatly appreciated their concern about Covid-19. Staff had numerous sanitary stations, wore masks and staged fitting areas far apart. Thank you The Running Shop!!!

This store contacted Yelp and had my review removed because they didn't like what i had to say. Seems fair and non biased to remove reviews right? Went into this shop, so I could "Shop Local" for high priced junk made in Taiwan. You realize "shopping local" Is just an advertising trick for simple people right? Shop Local for Junk made in third world sweat shops! The Running Shop is over priced and has mediocre customer service. Nothing about my experience there would ever make me go back.

They are very patient and will spend forever with you getting the right fit. I just got an amazing pair of shoes, which is allowing me to walk again after getting foot pain.
They still had a record of the last pair of shoes I bought 4 years ago! Though the new model of the same shoe had changed style now, and wasnt as comfortable, they went through trying about 8 pairs of different shoes with me, paired with different inserts. And the "kicker" - The pair that finally fit the best was on clearance and only cost $56 - less than I would have gotten it at a discount shoe store.

2. Accommodating - I'm aware that I can be a pain; I called them back to change the shoe color and they special ordered it for me and made the exchange without a grumble.

I have a tough foot to fit and despise shoe shopping for my hobbit feet. The staff here were friendly and welcoming, they worked hard to make sure I left happy with a shoe that fit well.
Staff are knowledgeable about the shoes and know how to help you find the perfect fit.
This will probably be my new go to spot for tennis shoes. They have a great rewards program -spend $200 and earn a $20 reward. What a deal!

I've had a good experience every time I've been here. First of all the sales people don't really bother you the way they do at other sports stores. They're just polite and available. I needed help finding new running shoes and they listened to me and brought out some suggestions but never tried to pressure me into anything.
