An absolute hidden gem of New Orleans. Would go every single day if I could. The staff is beyond kind as well! Love this place so much.

We were hunting for a good sandwich on our last day here in New Orleans and stumbled upon Welty’s, and I’m so glad we did! Highly recommend coming here for the muffaletta. It was extremely tasty and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Great prices. Daily lunch specials. Portions are huge. Short wait for food. As I was waiting for my togo order, I was eyeing everything passed out to diners eating in and literally every thing looked amazing. From what I saw, I would definitely try the salad next and I don't even eat salads.

Welty's is our go to for office lunch ordering! Tina, the owner, is beyond helpful. She is always going the extra mile to help out her customers. Portion sizes are HUGE - you get way more than your money's worth.

I had a last minute catering order for work and called Welty’s. Within three hours, I had box lunches and drinks for 15. Cannot thank them enough! Everyone was SO nice and helpful and the sandwiches were delish!

We both lapped up this southwest chicken tortilla soup. 😋 This has been our best Muffalette on this trip. The Roasted hardwood smoked salmon Ruben marble rye bread with Apple and cabinets sauerkraut, spicy thousand Island dressing, and baby Swiss cheese was a little too fishy for us so not to our taste, but salmon lovers would enjoy. Everyone was so friendly and took great care of us, especially Tina. Thanks

Some of the friendliest service in all of New Orleans. The Muffaletta was everything I've read about and more. The homemade lemonade and cookies were delicious. The chocolate chip cookies with the perfect soft texture.

Ok foodies so before the drag queen of New Orleans (the one from city hall) .. puts another mask mandate on us.. hurry on over to Weltys deli and catering 336 camp st and EAT ANYTHING FROM THE MENU!!! The daily specials are wonderful!! The price is quite fair and the portions are easily enough to share ( just be sure whoever you share with gets something else) you won’t be disappointed!!! Chef’s daily entries are simply spank yo mama delicious!!! Don’t just read the menu get to down to the CBD to Weltys deli and catering and order something!!

We came here from our Airbnb next door for a quick bite and fell in love with this spot. The lady that took our order at the counter was so funny and nice, I think it was the owner. She gave us free coffees after she found out we were nurses that dealt with covid patients in the thick of the pandemic and then bumped our order to the front of the queue when she realized we were in a hurry. Small business is the best, and these are the sort of interactions I live for...people helping people. Anyways the food was fantastic, the bread on my sandwich was so fresh and the homemade pesto was to die for

They have the most amazing corn beef. I haven't had corn beef this good since I went to Royal Deli in New York. The watermelon lemonade was one of the best non alcoholic drinks I've ever had.

After three straight days of comfort food lunches, I was craving a salad. Cue Welty's Deli and Catering. They got my mouth watering with their Curry Chicken Salad. (Let’s be honest - I wanted the French Dip but… ... life is all about the choices we make 😆.) As far as precautions, they stepped up to the plate! First of all, they have a couple bistro tables outside if you want to nosh al fresco. The food was WOW!! Muffaletta was to die for and the salad was so fresh! So many condiment choices and the staff was amazing! Even catered to my vegan husband. 10/10!!

A great little place with an eclectic menu. Here you will find Well made simple sandwiches to Beef Wellington. Overall a great experience.
