I could not be more disappointed with my move. Please DO NOT use this company. I have tried outreaching numerous times to the owner with concerns and have not received a response.

Big Hill Movers is best and most professional in dealing with customers - reasonable rates, open and responsive to questions and concerns. Big Hill movers have move many of our customers’ household items into their storage Units here at 10X Self Storage Marlborough and I have observe- that their guys are very careful in handling the items being transferred from their Truck into the storage unit. They’re also quick and don’t waste time in moving stuff into the unit .I have referred Big Hill Movers to our customers needing movers and they’re all satisfied with their rates and service.

Big Hill Movers was fantastic from beginning to end, with one small caveat. They were friendly, professional, careful, and I enjoyed listening to their discussions about how best to manage some of the heavier, bulkier objects. My only complaint was that they gave me a 1 1/4 hour window in which they would arrive and didn’t show up until 2 1/2 hours after the end of that window. That alone is understandable because moves can often take more time than allotted, but the fact that they didn’t call or answer the phone, or emails or texts and I didn’t hear from them that they would

Very impressed with these guys. All were responsive, showed up on time, worked hard, were super nice, and then didn't even charge us the full amount because the job was smaller than was estimted. I would absolutely use this company again and recommend them with total confidence. Will definitely use them again if/when we need movers.

After a very frustrating search for local movers, I was extremely relieved to find Big Hill movers. I consider them the Gold Standard in the Acton area for moving companies and they outshine their competition. They are extremely customer service and solution oriented, and resolve any issues quickly and without hassle. The owner Anthony knows how to treat clients, and hires great people!

HIGHLY recommended! I have used four or five different moving services in the last few months due to downsizing, and without a doubt these guys are the best by far that I have used.
Scheduling was very easy and pricing was transparent. It was a last-minute request for 2 guys to unload a uhaul and carry stuff up a flight of stairs (17 steps) and then move some other furniture up and down a couple of flights of stairs all on a Saturday so it was not cheap but I have to say it was worth every penny.
They communicated well both before and on the day of the move and were on time, very polite, cheerful

Big Hill movers moved my stuff from Acton to Newton. Half my stuff went to a storage in Newton, and the other half went to a house. Anthony gave a pretty accurate estimate, and was very personable. They were recommended to me by our realtor, so I expected a smooth experience.
The team that came were 3 people instead of 4, and only two trucks instead of 3. This happened because of confusion that arose due to changes in plans etc. and it is not entirely Anthony's fault. Used these guys to move a heavyViking range to a location 67 miles away. The quote was reasonable.
On time at pick up location and no issues at that location. Drop off was just as pleasant according to my Daughter who was at home for the delivery.
A honest job for fair price in my opinion.
Would use again.

These guys are affordable, professional, courteous, and easy to work with.
Yelp is full of "squeaky wheels" but I can say, first-hand experience, Big Hill Movers is simply the best in the area. They go above and beyond and charge a lot less than the competition. The owner is a pleasure to work with, and his crews clearly know what they're doing.

I have never written a negative review on any search engine before. But this horrible experience was a first.
Anthony of Big Hill Movers arrived at my house on 6/26/17 and took a tour to assess my moving job. He quoted me $1072 for the job. Materials would be on top of that. He said two loads would be required, which surprised me because previous experience told me that my belongs would all fit in his truck. I have a one floor, one bedroom, one bath ranch, and it was not cluttered.
He and his crew put a few tables in the truck and then left, ostensibly to get materials at a Lowes that is

These guys helped me move my stuff from a storage unit in Mass up to Maine. They did a good job and gave me set price up front (and stuck to it), which was important to me. They did the whole thing for a good price too.
They are not a fancy moving company with a shiny truck & uniforms. They are 2-3 guys and a truck who will move your stuff for a reasonable price. They had common sense and experience. They also listened and took direction well.
My stuff is not priceless or exceedingly fragile but everything was moved safely and with no damage. These are good budget movers with strong
